When two full years had passed, Pharaoh had a dream: He was standing by the Nile,

When two full years had passed, Pharaoh had a dream. In his dream, he was standing by the Nile River.

After two whole years, Pharaoh dreamed that he was standing by the Nile,

Two full years later, Pharaoh dreamed that he was standing on the bank of the Nile River.

At the end of two years Pharaoh had a dream: He was standing beside the Nile,

Now it happened at the end of two full years that Pharaoh had a dream, and behold, he was standing by the Nile.

Then it came to pass, at the end of two full years, that Pharaoh had a dream; and behold, he stood by the river.

And it came to pass at the end of two full years, that Pharaoh dreamed: and, behold, he stood by the river.

Two years later Pharaoh had a dream: He was standing beside the Nile,

At the end of two full years Pharaoh had a dream. As he was standing by the Nile,

While he was sitting on the judgment seat, his wife sent to him, saying,“ Have nothing to do with that righteous man, for I have suffered many things today in a dream because of him.”

Laban said to him,“ Surely you are my bone and my flesh.” Jacob stayed with him for a month.

The land of Egypt will be a desolation and a waste. Then they will know that I am Yahweh.“‘“ Because he has said,‘ The river is mine, and I have made it;’

It will happen, if they will not believe even these two signs or listen to your voice, that you shall take of the water of the river, and pour it on the dry land. The water which you take out of the river will become blood on the dry land.”

They both dreamed a dream, each man his dream, in one night, each man according to the interpretation of his dream, the cup bearer and the baker of the king of Egypt, who were bound in the prison.

The waters will fail from the sea, and the river will be wasted and become dry.

For the land, where you go in to possess isn’t like the land of Egypt that you came out of, where you sowed your seed and watered it with your foot, as a garden of herbs;

On that night, the king couldn’t sleep. He commanded the book of records of the chronicles to be brought, and they were read to the king.

Speak and say,‘ The Lord Yahweh says:“ Behold, I am against you, Pharaoh king of Egypt, the great monster that lies in the middle of his rivers, that has said,‘ My river is my own, and I have made it for myself.’

So he fled with all that he had. He rose up, passed over the River, and set his face toward the mountain of Gilead.

Pharaoh commanded all his people, saying,“ You shall cast every son who is born into the river, and every daughter you shall save alive.”

But God came to Abimelech in a dream of the night, and said to him,“ Behold, you are a dead man, because of the woman whom you have taken; for she is a man’s wife.”

In a dream, in a vision of the night, when deep sleep falls on men, in slumbering on the bed;Then he opens the ears of men, and seals their instruction,

I saw a dream which made me afraid; and the thoughts on my bed and the visions of my head troubled me.Therefore made I a decree to bring in all the wise men of Babylon before me, that they might make known to me the interpretation of the dream.Then the magicians, the enchanters, the Chaldeans, and the soothsayers came in; and I told the dream before them; but they didn’t make known to me its interpretation.But at the last Daniel came in before me, whose name was Belteshazzar, according to the name of my god, and in whom is the spirit of the holy gods. I told the dream before him, saying,“ Belteshazzar, master of the magicians, because I know that the spirit of the holy gods is in you, and no secret troubles you, tell me the visions of my dream that I have seen, and its interpretation.Thus were the visions of my head on my bed: I saw, and behold, a tree in the middle of the earth; and its height was great.The tree grew, and was strong, and its height reached to the sky, and its sight to the end of all the earth.The leaves of it were beautiful, and it had much fruit, and in it was food for all. The animals of the field had shade under it, and the birds of the sky lived in its branches, and all flesh was fed from it.“ I saw in the visions of my head on my bed, and behold, a watcher and a holy one came down from the sky.He cried aloud, and said this,‘ Cut down the tree, and cut off its branches! Shake off its leaves, and scatter its fruit! Let the animals get away from under it, and the fowls from its branches.Nevertheless leave the stump of its roots in the earth, even with a band of iron and bronze, in the tender grass of the field; and let it be wet with the dew of the sky. Let his portion be with the animals in the grass of the earth.Let his heart be changed from man’s, and let an animal’s heart be given to him. Then let seven times pass over him.“‘ The sentence is by the decree of the watchers, and the demand by the word of the holy ones; to the intent that the living may know that the Most High rules in the kingdom of men, and gives it to whomever he will, and sets up over it the lowest of men.’“ This dream I, king Nebuchadnezzar, have seen; and you, Belteshazzar, declare the interpretation, because all the wise men of my kingdom are not able to make known to me the interpretation; but you are able; for the spirit of the holy gods is in you.”

In the first year of Belshazzar king of Babylon Daniel had a dream and visions of his head on his bed. Then he wrote the dream and told the sum of the matters.Daniel spoke and said,“ I saw in my vision by night, and, behold, the four winds of the sky broke out on the great sea.Four great animals came up from the sea, different from one another.“ The first was like a lion, and had eagle’s wings. I watched until its wings were plucked, and it was lifted up from the earth, and made to stand on two feet as a man. A man’s heart was given to it.“ Behold, there was another animal, a second, like a bear. It was raised up on one side, and three ribs were in its mouth between its teeth. They said this to it:‘ Arise! Devour much flesh!’“ After this I saw, and behold, another, like a leopard, which had on its back four wings of a bird. The animal also had four heads; and dominion was given to it.“ After this I saw in the night visions, and, behold, there was a fourth animal, awesome and powerful, and exceedingly strong. It had great iron teeth. It devoured and broke in pieces, and stamped the residue with its feet. It was different from all the animals that were before it. It had ten horns.“ I considered the horns, and behold, there came up among them another horn, a little one, before which three of the first horns were plucked up by the roots: and behold, in this horn were eyes like the eyes of a man, and a mouth speaking great things.

In the second year of the reign of Nebuchadnezzar, Nebuchadnezzar dreamed dreams; and his spirit was troubled, and his sleep went from him.Then the king commanded that the magicians, the enchanters, the sorcerers, and the Chaldeans be called to tell the king his dreams. So they came in and stood before the king.The king said to them,“ I have dreamed a dream, and my spirit is troubled to know the dream.”

Joseph dreamed a dream, and he told it to his brothers, and they hated him all the more.He said to them,“ Please hear this dream which I have dreamed:for behold, we were binding sheaves in the field, and behold, my sheaf arose and also stood upright; and behold, your sheaves came around, and bowed down to my sheaf.”His brothers asked him,“ Will you indeed reign over us? Will you indeed have dominion over us?” They hated him all the more for his dreams and for his words.He dreamed yet another dream, and told it to his brothers, and said,“ Behold, I have dreamed yet another dream: and behold, the sun and the moon and eleven stars bowed down to me.”He told it to his father and to his brothers. His father rebuked him, and said to him,“ What is this dream that you have dreamed? Will I and your mother and your brothers indeed come to bow ourselves down to you to the earth?”

When Gideon had come, behold, there was a man telling a dream to his fellow. He said,“ Behold, I dreamed a dream; and behold, a cake of barley bread tumbled into the camp of Midian, came to the tent, and struck it so that it fell, and turned it upside down, so that the tent lay flat.”His fellow answered,“ This is nothing other than the sword of Gideon the son of Joash, a man of Israel. God has delivered Midian into his hand, with all the army.”
