酒正以夢告曰、夢有葡萄樹於前。

酒正以其夢告約瑟曰、我夢葡萄樹於我前、

So the chief wine taster told Joseph his dream. He said to him,“ In my dream I saw a vine in front of me.

Then the chief butler told his dream to Joseph, and said to him,“ Behold, in my dream a vine was before me,

These are the visions I saw while lying in bed: I looked, and there before me stood a tree in the middle of the land. Its height was enormous.The tree grew large and strong and its top touched the sky; it was visible to the ends of the earth.Its leaves were beautiful, its fruit abundant, and on it was food for all. Under it the wild animals found shelter, and the birds lived in its branches; from it every creature was fed.“ In the visions I saw while lying in bed, I looked, and there before me was a holy one, a messenger, coming down from heaven.He called in a loud voice:‘ Cut down the tree and trim off its branches; strip off its leaves and scatter its fruit. Let the animals flee from under it and the birds from its branches.But let the stump and its roots, bound with iron and bronze, remain in the ground, in the grass of the field.“‘ Let him be drenched with the dew of heaven, and let him live with the animals among the plants of the earth.Let his mind be changed from that of a man and let him be given the mind of an animal, till seven times pass by for him.“‘ The decision is announced by messengers, the holy ones declare the verdict, so that the living may know that the Most High is sovereign over all kingdoms on earth and gives them to anyone he wishes and sets over them the lowliest of people.’“ This is the dream that I, King Nebuchadnezzar, had. Now, Belteshazzar, tell me what it means, for none of the wise men in my kingdom can interpret it for me. But you can, because the spirit of the holy gods is in you.”

Joseph had a dream, and when he told it to his brothers, they hated him all the more.He said to them,“ Listen to this dream I had:We were binding sheaves of grain out in the field when suddenly my sheaf rose and stood upright, while your sheaves gathered around mine and bowed down to it.”His brothers said to him,“ Do you intend to reign over us? Will you actually rule us?” And they hated him all the more because of his dream and what he had said.Then he had another dream, and he told it to his brothers.“ Listen,” he said,“ I had another dream, and this time the sun and moon and eleven stars were bowing down to me.”When he told his father as well as his brothers, his father rebuked him and said,“ What is this dream you had? Will your mother and I and your brothers actually come and bow down to the ground before you?”

Finally, Daniel came into my presence and I told him the dream.( He is called Belteshazzar, after the name of my god, and the spirit of the holy gods is in him.)

“ Your Majesty looked, and there before you stood a large statue— an enormous, dazzling statue, awesome in appearance.

Gideon arrived just as a man was telling a friend his dream.“ I had a dream,” he was saying.“ A round loaf of barley bread came tumbling into the Midianite camp. It struck the tent with such force that the tent overturned and collapsed.”His friend responded,“ This can be nothing other than the sword of Gideon son of Joash, the Israelite. God has given the Midianites and the whole camp into his hands.”When Gideon heard the dream and its interpretation, he bowed down and worshiped. He returned to the camp of Israel and called out,“ Get up! The Lord has given the Midianite camp into your hands.”
