They said to him,“ We have dreamed a dream, and there is no one who can interpret it.” Joseph said to them,“ Don’t interpretations belong to God? Please tell it to me.”

“ We both had dreams,” they answered,“ but there is no one to interpret them.” Then Joseph said to them,“ Do not interpretations belong to God? Tell me your dreams.”

“ We both had dreams,” they answered.“ But no one can tell us what they mean.” Then Joseph said to them,“ Only God knows what dreams mean. Tell me your dreams.”

They said to him,“ We have had dreams, and there is no one to interpret them.” And Joseph said to them,“ Do not interpretations belong to God? Please tell them to me.”

And they replied,“ We both had dreams last night, but no one can tell us what they mean.”“ Interpreting dreams is God’s business,” Joseph replied.“ Go ahead and tell me your dreams.”

“ We had dreams,” they said to him,“ but there is no one to interpret them.” Then Joseph said to them,“ Don’t interpretations belong to God? Tell me your dreams.”

And they said to him,“ We have had a dream, and there is no one to interpret it.” Then Joseph said to them,“ Do interpretations not belong to God? Tell it to me, please.”

And they said to him,“ We each have had a dream, and there is no interpreter of it.” So Joseph said to them,“ Do not interpretations belong to God? Tell them to me, please.”

And they said unto him, We have dreamed a dream, and there is none that can interpret it. And Joseph said unto them, Do not interpretations belong to God? tell it me, I pray you.

“ We had dreams,” they said to him,“ but there is no one to interpret them.” Then Joseph said to them,“ Don’t interpretations belong to God? Tell me your dreams.”

And they said unto him, We have dreamed a dream, and[ there is] no interpreter of it. And Joseph said unto them,[ Do] not interpretations[ belong] to God? tell me[ them], I pray you.

They told him,“ We both had dreams, but there is no one to interpret them.” Joseph responded,“ Don’t interpretations belong to God? Tell them to me.”

Pharaoh said to Joseph,“ I have dreamed a dream, and there is no one who can interpret it. I have heard it said of you, that when you hear a dream you can interpret it.”Joseph answered Pharaoh, saying,“ It isn’t in me. God will give Pharaoh an answer of peace.”

The king answered to Daniel, and said,“ Of a truth your God is the God of gods, and the Lord of kings, and a revealer of secrets, since you have been able to reveal this secret.”

but there is a God in heaven who reveals secrets, and he has made known to the king Nebuchadnezzar what will be in the latter days. Your dream, and the visions of your head on your bed, are these:

and to another workings of miracles; and to another prophecy; and to another discerning of spirits; to another different kinds of languages; and to another the interpretation of languages.But the one and the same Spirit produces all of these, distributing to each one separately as he desires.

Surely the Lord Yahweh will do nothing, unless he reveals his secret to his servants the prophets.

The friendship of Yahweh is with those who fear him. He will show them his covenant.

But at the last Daniel came in before me, whose name was Belteshazzar, according to the name of my god, and in whom is the spirit of the holy gods. I told the dream before him, saying,

There is a man in your kingdom, in whom is the spirit of the holy gods; and in the days of your father light and understanding and wisdom, like the wisdom of the gods, were found in him. The king Nebuchadnezzar your father, yes, the king, your father, made him master of the magicians, enchanters, Chaldeans, and soothsayers;because an excellent spirit, knowledge, understanding, interpreting of dreams, showing of dark sentences, and dissolving of doubts were found in the same Daniel, whom the king named Belteshazzar. Now let Daniel be called, and he will show the interpretation.”Then Daniel was brought in before the king. The king spoke and said to Daniel,“ Are you that Daniel of the children of the captivity of Judah, whom the king my father brought out of Judah?I have heard of you, that the spirit of the gods is in you, and that light, understanding, and excellent wisdom are found in you.Now the wise men, the enchanters, have been brought in before me, that they should read this writing, and make known to me its interpretation; but they could not show the interpretation of the thing.

It is a rare thing that the king requires, and there is no other who can show it before the king, except the gods, whose dwelling is not with flesh.”

In a dream, in a vision of the night, when deep sleep falls on men, in slumbering on the bed;Then he opens the ears of men, and seals their instruction,

When they tell you,“ Consult with those who have familiar spirits and with the wizards, who chirp and who mutter,” shouldn’t a people consult with their God? Should they consult the dead on behalf of the living?
