他们回答说：“我们都做了梦，可是没有人给我们解梦。”约瑟说：“解梦的能力不是来自上帝吗？请你们把梦告诉我。”

“ We both had dreams,” they answered,“ but there is no one to interpret them.” Then Joseph said to them,“ Do not interpretations belong to God? Tell me your dreams.”

“ We both had dreams,” they answered.“ But no one can tell us what they mean.” Then Joseph said to them,“ Only God knows what dreams mean. Tell me your dreams.”

They said to him,“ We have had dreams, and there is no one to interpret them.” And Joseph said to them,“ Do not interpretations belong to God? Please tell them to me.”

And they replied,“ We both had dreams last night, but no one can tell us what they mean.”“ Interpreting dreams is God’s business,” Joseph replied.“ Go ahead and tell me your dreams.”

“ We had dreams,” they said to him,“ but there is no one to interpret them.” Then Joseph said to them,“ Don’t interpretations belong to God? Tell me your dreams.”

And they said to him,“ We have had a dream, and there is no one to interpret it.” Then Joseph said to them,“ Do interpretations not belong to God? Tell it to me, please.”

And they said to him,“ We each have had a dream, and there is no interpreter of it.” So Joseph said to them,“ Do not interpretations belong to God? Tell them to me, please.”

And they said unto him, We have dreamed a dream, and there is none that can interpret it. And Joseph said unto them, Do not interpretations belong to God? tell it me, I pray you.

“ We had dreams,” they said to him,“ but there is no one to interpret them.” Then Joseph said to them,“ Don’t interpretations belong to God? Tell me your dreams.”

And they said unto him, We have dreamed a dream, and[ there is] no interpreter of it. And Joseph said unto them,[ Do] not interpretations[ belong] to God? tell me[ them], I pray you.

They told him,“ We both had dreams, but there is no one to interpret them.” Joseph responded,“ Don’t interpretations belong to God? Tell them to me.”

They said to him,“ We have dreamed a dream, and there is no one who can interpret it.” Joseph said to them,“ Don’t interpretations belong to God? Please tell it to me.”

法老对约瑟说：“我做了一个梦，但无人能解。我听人说，你听了梦就能解。”约瑟就回答法老，说：“不是我，是神要回应法老，关乎法老的平安。”

王开口对但以理说：“你既然能显明这奥秘，那么你们的神真是万神之神、万王之主，是显明奥秘的那一位！”

然而天上有一位神，就是显明奥秘的那一位，他已经使尼布甲尼撒王明白了末后的日子将要发生的事——这就是你在床上所做的梦和脑海中的异象。

又有人被赐予了大能的功用，又有人被赐予了做先知传道的恩赐，又有人被赐予了对不同灵的分辨力，另有人被赐予了各种殊言，又有人被赐予了翻译殊言的恩赐。然而，这一切都是这同一位圣灵，就是独一的圣灵所运作的；他照着自己的旨意，个别地分给每个人。

耶和华与敬畏他的人亲密，使他们明白他的约。

最后，那照着我神的名称为伯提沙撒的但以理，来到我面前，他里面有圣洁之神的灵；我就向他说了这梦：

在你的国中有一个人，他里面有圣洁之神的灵；你先王年间就发现这人里面有光明、有悟性、有智慧如同神的智慧；你先王尼布甲尼撒亲自任命他为术士、占卜者、迦勒底人和算命者的领袖。你先王这样做，是因为发现但以理里面有超卓的灵性、有理智、有悟性，还能解梦、讲解谜语、解答难题；先王给他起名为伯提沙撒。现在让人把但以理召来，他必讲明那文字的释义。”于是但以理被带到王面前，王就开口对但以理说：“你就是我先王从犹大带来的犹大被掳之民中的但以理吧！我听说过你里面有神的灵，也发现你里面有光明、悟性、超卓的智慧。现在智慧人和占卜者都被带到我面前，为要他们读出这文字，并把它的释义显明给我，但他们却不能讲明这句话的释义；

王所问的事，是件难事，除了不与属肉体的人住在一起的神明，没有谁能在王面前讲明它。”

尽管有人对你们说：“求问那些喃喃自语、念念有词的招魂者和通灵者吧”，但百姓难道不应当求问自己的神吗？难道应当为活人求问死人吗？
