卻把司膳長掛起來，正如約瑟向他們所講解的。

愛亞的女兒利斯巴用麻布舖在磐石上搭棚，從收割的開始直到天降雨在屍體上，她白日不許空中的飛鳥落在屍體上，夜間不讓田野的走獸前來。

因為上帝一切的旨意，我並沒有退縮不傳給你們的。

今日耶和華必將你交在我手裏。我必殺你，砍下你的頭，今日我要把非利士軍兵的屍體給空中的飛鳥和地上的野獸，使全地的人都知道以色列中有上帝，

非利士人又對大衛說：「來吧！我要把你的肉給空中的飛鳥和田野的走獸。」

請把他的子孫七人交給我們，我們好在耶和華面前，把他們懸掛在基比亞，就是耶和華揀選掃羅的地方。」王說：「我必交給你們。」

「人若犯了死罪被處死，你把他掛在木頭上，不可讓屍體留在木頭上過夜，一定要當日把他埋葬，因為被掛的人是上帝所詛咒的。你不可玷污耶和華－你上帝所賜你為業的地。」

後來事情正如他給我們講解的實現了，我官復原職，司膳長被掛起來了。」
