今天你把我赶出去，使我不能再见你的面。我在地上四处漂泊，见到我的人都会杀我。”

看哪，今天你从这地驱逐我，以致我要躲避你的面，在大地上成为漂泊、流荡的人，任何找到我的人，都会杀我！”

你如今趕逐我離開這地，以致不見你面；我必流離飄蕩在地上，凡遇見我的必殺我。」

看哪，今日你趕我離開這塊土地，不能見你的面；我必流離飄蕩在地上，凡遇見我的必殺我。」

主今逐我離斯地、不容我覿主面、我既飄流於地、則凡遇我者必殺我、

Today you are driving me from the land, and I will be hidden from your presence; I will be a restless wanderer on the earth, and whoever finds me will kill me.”

Today you are driving me away from the land. I will be hidden from you. I’ll be a restless person who wanders around on the earth. Anyone who finds me will kill me.”

Behold, you have driven me today away from the ground, and from your face I shall be hidden. I shall be a fugitive and a wanderer on the earth, and whoever finds me will kill me.”

Since you are banishing me today from the face of the earth, and I must hide from your presence and become a restless wanderer on the earth, whoever finds me will kill me.”

Behold, You have driven me this day from the face of the ground; and I will be hidden from Your face, and I will be a wanderer and a drifter on the earth, and whoever finds me will kill me.”

Surely You have driven me out this day from the face of the ground; I shall be hidden from Your face; I shall be a fugitive and a vagabond on the earth, and it will happen that anyone who finds me will kill me.”

Behold, thou hast driven me out this day from the face of the ground; and from thy face shall I be hid; and I shall be a fugitive and a wanderer in the earth; and it will come to pass, that whosoever findeth me will slay me.

Behold, thou hast driven me out this day from the face of the earth; and from thy face shall I be hid; and I shall be a fugitive and a vagabond in the earth; and it shall come to pass,[ that] every one that findeth me shall slay me.

Look! You are driving me off the land today, and I must hide from your presence. I will be a homeless wanderer on the earth; whoever finds me will kill me.”

Behold, you have driven me out today from the surface of the ground. I will be hidden from your face, and I will be a fugitive and a wanderer in the earth. Whoever finds me will kill me.”

The victim’s nearest relative is responsible for putting the murderer to death. When they meet, the avenger must put the murderer to death.

“ The wicked writhe in pain throughout their lives. Years of trouble are stored up for the ruthless.The sound of terror rings in their ears, and even on good days they fear the attack of the destroyer.They dare not go out into the darkness for fear they will be murdered.They wander around, saying,‘ Where can I find bread?’ They know their day of destruction is near.That dark day terrifies them. They live in distress and anguish, like a king preparing for battle.

Come quickly, Lord, and answer me, for my depression deepens. Don’t turn away from me, or I will die.

The wicked run away when no one is chasing them, but the godly are as bold as lions.

These things happened because of the Lord’s anger against the people of Jerusalem and Judah, until he finally banished them from his presence and sent them into exile. Zedekiah rebelled against the king of Babylon.

and the avenger finds him outside the city and kills him, it will not be considered murder.

Or if someone hates another person and hits him with a fist and he dies, it is murder. In such cases, the avenger must put the murderer to death when they meet.

“ And I will require the blood of anyone who takes another person’s life. If a wild animal kills a person, it must die. And anyone who murders a fellow human must die.If anyone takes a human life, that person’s life will also be taken by human hands. For God made human beings in his own image.

The Lord replied,“ No, for I will give a sevenfold punishment to anyone who kills you.” Then the Lord put a mark on Cain to warn anyone who might try to kill him.So Cain left the Lord’s presence and settled in the land of Nod, east of Eden.

There among those nations you will find no peace or place to rest. And the Lord will cause your heart to tremble, your eyesight to fail, and your soul to despair.

May his children wander as beggars and be driven from their ruined homes.

Then the people of Israel said to Moses,“ Look, we are doomed! We are dead! We are ruined!Everyone who even comes close to the Tabernacle of the Lord dies. Are we all doomed to die?”

Let no one be kind to him; let no one pity his fatherless children.

They will be punished with eternal destruction, forever separated from the Lord and from his glorious power.

Now the rest of the family is demanding,‘ Let us have your son. We will execute him for murdering his brother. He doesn’t deserve to inherit his family’s property.’ They want to extinguish the only coal I have left, and my husband’s name and family will disappear from the face of the earth.”

and down at the earth, but wherever they look, there will be trouble and anguish and dark despair. They will be thrown out into the darkness.

Do not banish me from your presence, and don’t take your Holy Spirit from me.Restore to me the joy of your salvation, and make me willing to obey you.Then I will teach your ways to rebels, and they will return to you.Forgive me for shedding blood, O God who saves; then I will joyfully sing of your forgiveness.

“ And for those of you who survive, I will demoralize you in the land of your enemies. You will live in such fear that the sound of a leaf driven by the wind will send you fleeing. You will run as though fleeing from a sword, and you will fall even when no one pursues you.

The wicked are crushed by disaster, but the godly have a refuge when they die.

And yet they say to God,‘ Go away. We want no part of you and your ways.Who is the Almighty, and why should we obey him? What good will it do us to pray?’

“ And they will go away into eternal punishment, but the righteous will go into eternal life.”

I will turn against you, and you will be defeated by your enemies. Those who hate you will rule over you, and you will run even when no one is chasing you!

Therefore, they will disappear like the morning mist, like dew in the morning sun, like chaff blown by the wind, like smoke from a chimney.

“ Then the King will turn to those on the left and say,‘ Away with you, you cursed ones, into the eternal fire prepared for the devil and his demons.
