Behold, thou hast driven me out this day from the face of the ground; and from thy face shall I be hid; and I shall be a fugitive and a wanderer in the earth; and it will come to pass, that whosoever findeth me will slay me.

你如今趕逐我離開這地，以致不見你面；我必流離飄蕩在地上，凡遇見我的必殺我。」

Today you are driving me from the land, and I will be hidden from your presence; I will be a restless wanderer on the earth, and whoever finds me will kill me.”

Today you are driving me away from the land. I will be hidden from you. I’ll be a restless person who wanders around on the earth. Anyone who finds me will kill me.”

You have banished me from the land and from your presence; you have made me a homeless wanderer. Anyone who finds me will kill me!”

Since you are banishing me today from the face of the earth, and I must hide from your presence and become a restless wanderer on the earth, whoever finds me will kill me.”

The avenger of blood shall himself put the murderer to death: when he meeteth him, he shall put him to death.

The wicked man travaileth with pain all his days, Even the number of years that are laid up for the oppressor.A sound of terrors is in his ears; In prosperity the destroyer shall come upon him.He believeth not that he shall return out of darkness, And he is waited for of the sword.He wandereth abroad for bread, saying, Where is it? He knoweth that the day of darkness is ready at his hand.Distress and anguish make him afraid; They prevail against him, as a king ready to the battle.

Make haste to answer me, O Jehovah; my spirit faileth: Hide not thy face from me, Lest I become like them that go down into the pit.

The wicked flee when no man pursueth; But the righteous are bold as a lion.

For through the anger of Jehovah did it come to pass in Jerusalem and Judah, until he had cast them out from his presence. And Zedekiah rebelled against the king of Babylon.

and the avenger of blood find him without the border of his city of refuge, and the avenger of blood slay the manslayer; he shall not be guilty of blood,

or in enmity smote him with his hand, so that he died; he that smote him shall surely be put to death; he is a murderer: the avenger of blood shall put the murderer to death, when he meeteth him.

And surely your blood, the blood of your lives, will I require; at the hand of every beast will I require it: and at the hand of man, even at the hand of every man’s brother, will I require the life of man.Whoso sheddeth man’s blood, by man shall his blood be shed: for in the image of God made he man.

And Jehovah said unto him, Therefore whosoever slayeth Cain, vengeance shall be taken on him sevenfold. And Jehovah appointed a sign for Cain, lest any finding him should smite him.And Cain went out from the presence of Jehovah, and dwelt in the land of Nod, on the east of Eden.

And among these nations shalt thou find no ease, and there shall be no rest for the sole of thy foot: but Jehovah will give thee there a trembling heart, and failing of eyes, and pining of soul;

Let his children be vagabonds, and beg; And let them seek their bread out of their desolate places.

And the children of Israel spake unto Moses, saying, Behold, we perish, we are undone, we are all undone.Every one that cometh near, that cometh near unto the tabernacle of Jehovah, dieth: shall we perish all of us?

Let there be none to extend kindness unto him; Neither let there be any to have pity on his fatherless children.

who shall suffer punishment, even eternal destruction from the face of the Lord and from the glory of his might,

And, behold, the whole family is risen against thy handmaid, and they say, Deliver him that smote his brother, that we may kill him for the life of his brother whom he slew, and so destroy the heir also. and they shall look unto the earth, and, behold, distress and darkness, the gloom of anguish; and into thick darkness they shall be driven away.

Cast me not away from thy presence; And take not thy holy Spirit from me.Restore unto me the joy of thy salvation; And uphold me with a willing spirit.Then will I teach transgressors thy ways; And sinners shall be converted unto thee.Deliver me from bloodguiltiness, O God, thou God of my salvation; And my tongue shall sing aloud of thy righteousness.

And as for them that are left of you, I will send a faintness into their heart in the lands of their enemies: and the sound of a driven leaf shall chase them; and they shall flee, as one fleeth from the sword; and they shall fall when none pursueth.

The wicked is thrust down in his evil- doing; But the righteous hath a refuge in his death.

And they say unto God, Depart from us; For we desire not the knowledge of thy ways.What is the Almighty, that we should serve him? And what profit should we have, if we pray unto him?

And these shall go away into eternal punishment: but the righteous into eternal life.

And I will set my face against you, and ye shall be smitten before your enemies: they that hate you shall rule over you; and ye shall flee when none pursueth you.

Therefore they shall be as the morning cloud, and as the dew that passeth early away, as the chaff that is driven with the whirlwind out of the threshing- floor, and as the smoke out of the chimney.

Then shall he say also unto them on the left hand, Depart from me, ye cursed, into the eternal fire which is prepared for the devil and his angels:
