Then Cain said to the LORD,“ My punishment is too great to endure!

該隱對耶和華說：「我的懲罰太重，過於我所能承當的。

該隱對耶和華說：「我的懲罰太重，過於我所能承當的。

該隱對耶和華說：「這懲罰太重！我承受不了。

該隱對耶和華說：“我的刑罰太重，過於我所能擔當。

該隱對永恆主說；『我的罪罰太重，過於我所能擔當的。

該隱對耶和華說：「對我的懲罰太重，超過我所能承擔的。

該隱謂耶和華曰、我刑之重、實所不堪、

該隱謂耶和華曰、我罹重刑、實所不堪。

該隱對主曰、我罪甚重、實所不堪、

Cain said to the Lord,“ My punishment is more than I can bear.

Cain said to the Lord,“ You are punishing me more than I can take.

Cain said to the Lord,“ My punishment is greater than I can bear.

Cain replied to the Lord,“ My punishment is too great for me to bear!

But Cain answered the LORD,“ My punishment is too great to bear!

Cain said to the Lord,“ My punishment is too great to endure!

And Cain said to the Lord,“ My punishment is greater than I can bear!

And Cain said unto Jehovah, My punishment is greater than I can bear.

But Cain answered the Lord,“ My punishment is too great to bear!

And Cain said unto the LORD, My punishment[ is] greater than I can bear.

Cain said to Yahweh,“ My punishment is greater than I can bear.

Thus people were scorched by the terrible heat, yet they blasphemed the name of God, who has ruling authority over these plagues, and they would not repent and give him glory.

He does not expect to escape from darkness; he is marked for the sword;

They blasphemed the God of heaven because of their sufferings and because of their sores, but nevertheless they still refused to repent of their deeds.

And gigantic hailstones, weighing about a hundred pounds each, fell from heaven on people, but they blasphemed God because of the plague of hail, since it was so horrendous.
