But he refused.“ With me in charge,” he told her,“ my master does not concern himself with anything in the house; everything he owns he has entrusted to my care.

But he refused and said to his master’s wife,“ Behold, because of me my master has no concern about anything in the house, and he has put everything that he has in my charge.

But Joseph refused.“ Look,” he told her,“ my master trusts me with everything in his entire household.

But he refused.“ Look,” he said to his master’s wife,“ with me here my master does not concern himself with anything in his house, and he has put all that he owns under my authority.

But he refused and said to his master’s wife,“ Look, with me here, my master does not concern himself with anything in the house, and he has put me in charge of all that he owns.

But he refused and said to his master’s wife,“ Look, my master does not know what is with me in the house, and he has committed all that he has to my hand.

But he refused, and said unto his master’s wife, Behold, my master knoweth not what is with me in the house, and he hath put all that he hath into my hand:

和婦人通姦的，實在無知；行這事的，是自我毀滅。他必遭受擊打，被凌辱，他的恥辱永不能塗抹。

因為淫婦的嘴唇滴下蜂蜜，她的口比油更滑；至終卻苦似苦菫，快如兩刃的劍。她的腳走下死地，她的腳步踏向陰間。她不理會生命之路，她的路徑變遷無定，自己也不知道。孩子們，現在要聽從我，不可離棄我口中的話。你的道路要遠離她，不可走近她的家門；

我兒，把你的心給我；你的眼目要關注我的道路。因為妓女是深坑，淫婦是狹窄的井。她像強盜一樣埋伏，使人間增添很多奸詐的人。

我兒，要謹守你父親的誡命，不可離棄你母親的訓誨。要把它們常常繫在你的心上，綁在你的頸項上。你行走的時候，它們必引導你；你睡覺的時候，它們必保護你；你醒來的時候，它們必和你交談。因為誡命是燈，訓誨是光，出於管教的責備是生命之道，能保護你遠離邪惡的女人，遠離妓女諂媚的舌頭。你心裡不要貪戀她的美色，也不要給她的媚眼勾引。

這樣行就可以保護你脫離淫亂的婦人，脫離說諂媚話的妓女。

淫婦的口是深坑，耶和華所惱恨的必陷在其中。

朋友眾多的人，終必彼此破裂，但有一位朋友，比兄弟更親密。

我兒，如果壞人引誘你，你不可隨從他們。

愚昧的婦人喧嘩不停，她是愚蒙，一無所知。她坐在自己的家門口，坐在城中高處的座位上，向過路的人呼叫，就是向往前直行的人呼叫：“誰是愚蒙人，可以到這裡來！”又對無知的人說：“偷來的水是甜的，在暗中吃的餅是美味的。”人卻不知道她那裡有陰魂，她的客人是在陰間的深處。

凡是和別人的妻子通姦的，也是這樣；凡是親近她的，都必不免受罰。

你的心不可偏向淫婦的道路，也不要迷戀她的路徑。因為她使許多人倒斃，被她殺害的實在無數。她的家是通往陰間的路，是下到死亡的宮房。

智慧要救你脫離淫婦，脫離說諂媚話的妓女。她離棄年輕時的配偶，忘記了神的約；她的家陷入死地，她的路徑下落陰間。凡是進到她那裡去的，都不能轉回，必得不著生路。

智慧必進入你的心，知識必使你歡悅。
