But he refused.“ With me in charge,” he told her,“ my master does not concern himself with anything in the house; everything he owns he has entrusted to my care.

But he refused and said to his master’s wife,“ Behold, because of me my master has no concern about anything in the house, and he has put everything that he has in my charge.

But Joseph refused.“ Look,” he told her,“ my master trusts me with everything in his entire household.

But he refused.“ Look,” he said to his master’s wife,“ with me here my master does not concern himself with anything in his house, and he has put all that he owns under my authority.

But he refused and said to his master’s wife,“ Look, with me here, my master does not concern himself with anything in the house, and he has put me in charge of all that he owns.

But he refused and said to his master’s wife,“ Look, my master does not know what is with me in the house, and he has committed all that he has to my hand.

But he refused, and said unto his master’s wife, Behold, my master knoweth not what is with me in the house, and he hath put all that he hath into my hand:

和妇人通奸的，实在无知；行这事的，是自我毁灭。他必遭受击打，被凌辱，他的耻辱永不能涂抹。

因为淫妇的嘴唇滴下蜂蜜，她的口比油更滑；至终却苦似苦菫，快如两刃的剑。她的脚走下死地，她的脚步踏向阴间。她不理会生命之路，她的路径变迁无定，自己也不知道。孩子们，现在要听从我，不可离弃我口中的话。你的道路要远离她，不可走近她的家门；

我儿，把你的心给我；你的眼目要关注我的道路。因为妓女是深坑，淫妇是狭窄的井。她像强盗一样埋伏，使人间增添很多奸诈的人。

我儿，要谨守你父亲的诫命，不可离弃你母亲的训诲。要把它们常常系在你的心上，绑在你的颈项上。你行走的时候，它们必引导你；你睡觉的时候，它们必保护你；你醒来的时候，它们必和你交谈。因为诫命是灯，训诲是光，出于管教的责备是生命之道，能保护你远离邪恶的女人，远离妓女谄媚的舌头。你心里不要贪恋她的美色，也不要给她的媚眼勾引。

这样行就可以保护你脱离淫乱的妇人，脱离说谄媚话的妓女。

淫妇的口是深坑，耶和华所恼恨的必陷在其中。

朋友众多的人，终必彼此破裂，但有一位朋友，比兄弟更亲密。

我儿，如果坏人引诱你，你不可随从他们。

愚昧的妇人喧哗不停，她是愚蒙，一无所知。她坐在自己的家门口，坐在城中高处的座位上，向过路的人呼叫，就是向往前直行的人呼叫：“谁是愚蒙人，可以到这里来！”又对无知的人说：“偷来的水是甜的，在暗中吃的饼是美味的。”人却不知道她那里有阴魂，她的客人是在阴间的深处。

凡是和别人的妻子通奸的，也是这样；凡是亲近她的，都必不免受罚。

你的心不可偏向淫妇的道路，也不要迷恋她的路径。因为她使许多人倒毙，被她杀害的实在无数。她的家是通往阴间的路，是下到死亡的宫房。

智慧要救你脱离淫妇，脱离说谄媚话的妓女。她离弃年轻时的配偶，忘记了神的约；她的家陷入死地，她的路径下落阴间。凡是进到她那里去的，都不能转回，必得不着生路。
