因為人若在神面前為良心的緣故，忍受冤屈的苦楚，是有福的。

我為了這福音受了磨難，甚至像犯人一樣被捆綁起來；可是，神的話卻不被捆綁。

於是這三個人穿著外袍、長褲、頭巾和身上其他的衣服，被綁起來，扔在烈火的窯中。由於王的命令緊急，窰又燒得非常猛烈，那些把沙得拉、米煞和亞伯尼歌抬起來的人，都被火燄燒死了。

那時酒政告訴法老說：“我今日想起了我的過錯。從前法老惱怒臣僕，把我和膳長關在軍長府的監房裡。我們二人在同一夜都作了夢；我們的夢各有不同的解釋。在那裡有一個希伯來的少年人與我們在一起，他是軍長的僕人，我們把夢告訴了他，他就替我們解夢，各人的夢有不同的解釋。結果，事情都照著他給我們的解釋實現了：我恢復了原職，膳長卻被掛起來。”法老於是派人去召約瑟。他們就急忙把約瑟從監裡帶出來。他剃了頭、刮了臉、換了衣服，就進去見法老。

這些事以後，埃及王的酒政和膳長，得罪了他們的主人埃及王。法老就惱怒酒政和膳長這兩個臣宰，把他們關在軍長府內的監房裡，就是約瑟被囚禁的地方。

人的忿怒必使你得稱讚，人的餘怒必成為你的裝飾。

他受拘禁和審判以後被帶走；至於他那個世代的人中，有誰想到從活人之地被剪除，被擊打，是因我子民的過犯呢？
