This is what she said to him:“ That Hebrew slave you brought to us tried to humiliate me,

『不可散佈虛謊的傳聞，也不可跟惡人連手去作強暴事的見證。

惡人拔刀拉弓，要打倒困苦貧窮的人，要屠宰行徑正直的人；

由於仇敵的聲音，惡人的壓力；因為他們將禍患傾落於我身，氣忿忿地逼迫我。

就把家裏的人叫來，對他們說：『你們看，他帶一個希伯來人進我們這裏來，要調戲我們。他進來找我，要和我同寢；我大聲喊叫。

文書上寫着說：『你們要宣告禁食，叫拿伯坐在民間的首位上，又叫兩個無賴子一類的人坐在拿伯對面，作見證告他說：「你曾經謗讟上帝和王」；隨即把他拉出去、拿石頭打他、打到他死去。』拿伯城裏的人、那些在他城裏居住的長老和顯貴的人、就照耶洗別所送給他們的文書去行。他們照送給他們的文書裏所寫的宣告禁食，叫拿伯坐在民間的首位上。有兩個無賴子一類的人來，坐在拿伯對面；無賴子當着眾民面前作見證告拿伯說：『拿伯曾經謗讟上帝和王』；眾人就把他拉出城外，拿石頭打他打到死。

『不可作假見證陷害你的鄰舍。

『永恆主啊，援救我脫離虛假之嘴脣，詭詐之舌頭！』詭詐之舌頭啊，要用甚麼去給你呢？要拿甚麼來加給你呢？就是勇士的利箭、同羅騰木的炭火！

說實話的嘴脣永遠立定；虛假的舌頭、不過眨眼間。

祭司長就撕開衣裳說：『他說了僭妄的話了；我們還需要見證人麼？你看，如今你們聽見僭妄的話了；

假見證必難免於受罰；噴吐謊言的必滅亡。
