「不可散佈謠言，也不可與惡人一起作偽證陷害別人。

惡人拔劍張弓要消滅窮苦人，殺戮正直人，

仇敵向我咆哮，惡人迫害我。他們帶給我苦難，怒氣沖沖地辱罵我。

「不可作偽證陷害人。

耶和華啊，求你救我遠離虛謊詭詐之徒。詭詐之徒啊！你會受到怎樣的懲罰呢？你會有什麼下場呢？等待你的是勇士的利箭和炙熱的炭火。

誠實的口永遠長存，撒謊的舌轉瞬即逝。

大祭司撕裂衣服，說：「祂褻瀆了上帝！我們還需要什麼證人呢？你們現在親耳聽見了祂說褻瀆的話，

作偽證者難免受罰，撒謊的人自取滅亡。

見到以利亞後，就說：「給以色列帶來災禍的就是你嗎？」
