And she spake unto him according to these words, saying, The Hebrew servant, whom thou hast brought unto us, came in unto me to mock me:

她又用同样的话对他说：“你带回家来的希伯来奴隶，竟进到这里来，要调戏我。

也用这些话对他说：“你带给我们的那个希伯来奴仆，到我这里来要戏弄我。

就對他如此如此說：「你所帶到我們這裏的那希伯來僕人進來要戲弄我，

就用這樣的話對他說：「你帶到我們這裏來的那希伯來僕人進來要調戲我，

就用這樣的話對他說：「你帶到我們這裏來的那希伯來僕人進來要調戲我，

就對他說：「你帶回來的那個希伯來人進來要戲弄我，

她又用同樣的話對他說：“你帶回家來的希伯來奴隸，竟進到這裡來，要調戲我。

就將這些事這麼對他一說：『你所帶到我們這裏來的那希伯來僕人、進來找我、要調戲我。

也用這些話對他說：「你帶給我們的那個希伯來奴僕，到我這裡來要戲弄我。

至則告曰、爾所攜至之希伯來僕、入而戲我、

既至、則告曰、爾所得之希百來僕、入以辱我。

既歸、婦以是言告之曰、爾所挈之希伯來奴來此戲我、

Then she told him this story:“ That Hebrew slave you brought us came to me to make sport of me.

Then she told him her story. She said,“ That Hebrew slave you brought us came to me to rape me.

and she told him the same story, saying,“ The Hebrew servant, whom you have brought among us, came in to me to laugh at me.

Then she told him her story.“ That Hebrew slave you’ve brought into our house tried to come in and fool around with me,” she said.

Then she told him the same story:“ The Hebrew slave you brought to us came to make a fool of me,

Then she spoke to him with these words:“ The Hebrew slave, whom you brought to us, came in to me to make fun of me;

Then she spoke to him with words like these, saying,“ The Hebrew servant whom you brought to us came in to me to mock me;

Then she told him the same story:“ The Hebrew slave you brought to us came to make a fool of me,

And she spake unto him according to these words, saying, The Hebrew servant, which thou hast brought unto us, came in unto me to mock me:

This is what she said to him:“ That Hebrew slave you brought to us tried to humiliate me,

She spoke to him according to these words, saying,“ The Hebrew servant, whom you have brought to us, came in to me to mock me,

Thou shalt not take up a false report: put not thy hand with the wicked to be an unrighteous witness.

The wicked have drawn out the sword, and have bent their bow, To cast down the poor and needy, To slay such as are upright in the way.

Because of the voice of the enemy, Because of the oppression of the wicked; For they cast iniquity upon me, And in anger they persecute me.

that she called unto the men of her house, and spake unto them, saying, See, he hath brought in a Hebrew unto us to mock us: he came in unto me to lie with me, and I cried with a loud voice:

And she wrote in the letters, saying, Proclaim a fast, and set Naboth on high among the people:and set two men, base fellows, before him, and let them bear witness against him, saying, Thou didst curse God and the king. And then carry him out, and stone him to death.And the men of his city, even the elders and the nobles who dwelt in his city, did as Jezebel had sent unto them, according as it was written in the letters which she had sent unto them.They proclaimed a fast, and set Naboth on high among the people.And the two men, the base fellows, came in and sat before him: and the base fellows bare witness against him, even against Naboth, in the presence of the people, saying, Naboth did curse God and the king. Then they carried him forth out of the city, and stoned him to death with stones.

Thou shalt not bear false witness against thy neighbor.

Deliver my soul, O Jehovah, from lying lips, And from a deceitful tongue.What shall be given unto thee, and what shall be done more unto thee, Thou deceitful tongue?Sharp arrows of the mighty, With coals of juniper.

The lip of truth shall be established for ever; But a lying tongue is but for a moment.

A false witness shall not be unpunished; And he that uttereth lies shall perish.

A false witness shall not be unpunished; And he that uttereth lies shall not escape.

And it came to pass, when Ahab saw Elijah, that Ahab said unto him, Is it thou, thou troubler of Israel?
