要遠遠避開淫婦，不可靠近她的家門，

你要逃避年輕人的邪情私慾，要跟那些以清潔的心求告主的人一同追求公義、信心、仁愛、和平。

親愛的弟兄姊妹，你們是客旅，是寄居的，我勸你們要禁戒與靈魂為敵的邪情私慾。

我發現有的婦人比死亡更苦毒，她是個陷阱，心如網羅，手像鎖鏈。敬畏上帝的人避開她，罪人卻被她俘虜。

她纏著那青年，與他親吻，厚顏無恥地說：「我今天剛獻祭還了願，家裡有平安祭肉，因此我出來四處尋找你，終於找到了你！我已經鋪好了床，鋪上了埃及的繡花布，又用沒藥、沉香、肉桂薰了床。來吧，讓我們通宵暢飲愛情，讓我們盡情歡愛！因為我丈夫不在家，出遠門了。他帶著錢囊去了，月底才回來。」淫婦花言巧語勾引他，用諂媚的話語誘惑他。那青年立刻隨她而去，像走向屠宰場的公牛，又像掉入陷阱的雄鹿，直等到利箭射穿他的肝。他像隻自投網羅的飛鳥，渾然不知要賠上性命！孩子們啊，你們要聽從我的話，留意我口中的訓言，別讓你的心偏向淫婦的道，步入她的歧途。因為她使許多人喪命，被她殺害的數目眾多。她的家是通往陰間的路，引人墜入死亡的殿。

要救自己脫離困境，像羚羊掙脫獵人的手，飛鳥逃脫捕鳥人的手。

孩子啊，不要走他們的道，切莫行他們的路。

但她還是每天勾引約瑟，約瑟不從，並儘量避開她。

約瑟拒絕了她，說：「我主人信任我，把家裡一切事都交給我管理。

「『主耶和華說，你的心敗壞至極，簡直就像不知羞恥的娼妓，因為你在街頭巷尾築祭壇，在廣場建高高的神廟，甚至不收淫資，實在連妓女都不如。

你們不要上當受騙，「交壞朋友會敗壞好品德」。

撒母耳轉身離去，掃羅就抓住他的衣邊，結果衣邊被撕下來了。

只有一個身上披著一塊麻布的青年跟著耶穌。他們上去捉他，他丟了那塊麻布，赤身逃走了。
