One day he went into the house to attend to his duties, and none of the household servants was inside.

The adulterer waits for the twilight, saying,‘ No one will see me then.’ He hides his face so no one will know him.

Let there be no sexual immorality, impurity, or greed among you. Such sins have no place among God’s people.

“ Stolen water is refreshing; food eaten in secret tastes the best!”

“ At that time I will put you on trial. I am eager to witness against all sorcerers and adulterers and liars. I will speak against those who cheat employees of their wages, who oppress widows and orphans, or who deprive the foreigners living among you of justice, for these people do not fear me,” says the Lord of Heaven’s Armies.

Can anyone hide from me in a secret place? Am I not everywhere in all the heavens and earth?” says the Lord.

It is shameful even to talk about the things that ungodly people do in secret.
