His brothers said to him,“ Do you intend to reign over us? Will you actually rule us?” And they hated him all the more because of his dream and what he had said.

His brothers said to him,“ Do you plan to be king over us? Will you really rule over us?” So they hated him even more because of his dream. They didn’t like what he had said.

His brothers said to him,“ Are you indeed to reign over us? Or are you indeed to rule over us?” So they hated him even more for his dreams and for his words.

His brothers responded,“ So you think you will be our king, do you? Do you actually think you will reign over us?” And they hated him all the more because of his dreams and the way he talked about them.

“ Are you really going to reign over us?” his brothers asked him.“ Are you really going to rule us?” So they hated him even more because of his dream and what he had said.

Then his brothers said to him,“ Are you actually going to reign over us? Or are you really going to rule over us?” So they hated him even more for his dreams and for his words.

And his brothers said to him,“ Shall you indeed reign over us? Or shall you indeed have dominion over us?” So they hated him even more for his dreams and for his words.

And his brethren said to him, Shalt thou indeed reign over us? or shalt thou indeed have dominion over us? And they hated him yet the more for his dreams, and for his words.

“ Are you really going to reign over us?” his brothers asked him.“ Are you really going to rule us?” So they hated him even more because of his dream and what he had said.

Then his brothers asked him,“ Do you really think you will rule over us or have dominion over us?” They hated him even more because of his dream and because of what he said.

「這摩西就是他們拒絕說『誰委任你做首領和審判官』的那位，神卻藉著那在荊棘中向他顯現的天使的手，差派他做首領、做救贖者。

「讓我們掙斷他們的捆綁，把他們的繩索從我們身上甩掉！」坐在天上的那一位會譏笑，主會嘲笑他們。那時他在怒氣中向他們說話，在烈怒中使他們惶恐，說：「我在錫安我的聖山上，膏立了我的王。」

「他本國的人卻憎恨他，就差派特使在他背後去，說：『我們不要這個人做王統治我們。』

「事實上，希律和本丟彼拉多，與外邦人和以色列子民果然在這城裡一同聚集，對付你所膏立的聖僕耶穌，做成了你手和你計劃所預定要成就的一切事。

何況一個人踐踏了神的兒子，把那使自己成聖的立約之血看做是俗物，又侮辱了恩典的聖靈，你們想想，這個人難道不該受更厲害的懲罰嗎？

大衛與那些人說話時，他的大哥以利押聽見了，以利押就對大衛發怒，說：「你為什麼下來這裡呢？你把曠野裡那些小羊交託給誰了？我知道你的狂傲和惡意，你下來就是為了看打仗！」

你父親的祝福勝過我祖先的祝福，達到永世山嶺的極限。願這些祝福臨到約瑟的頭上，就是臨到從兄弟中分別出來的那位的頭頂。

耶穌注視著他們，說：「那麼，經上記的『工匠所棄絕的石頭，它已經成了房角的頭塊石頭』這話是什麼意思呢？

約瑟的哥哥們看見父親愛約瑟勝過他所有的兄弟，就恨約瑟，不能與他和氣地說話。

然而有些卑劣之徒說：「這人怎麼能拯救我們呢？」他們就輕視他，也沒有給他帶禮物，掃羅卻保持沉默。

工匠所棄絕的石頭，已經成了房角的頭塊石頭。
