All his sons and daughters came to comfort him, but he refused to be comforted.“ No,” he said,“ I will continue to mourn until I join my son in the grave.” So his father wept for him.

The elders of his household stood beside him to get him up from the ground, but he refused, and he would not eat any food with them. (niv)

When Job’s three friends, Eliphaz the Temanite, Bildad the Shuhite and Zophar the Naamathite, heard about all the troubles that had come upon him, they set out from their homes and met together by agreement to go and sympathize with him and comfort him. (niv)

This is what the Lord says:“ A voice is heard in Ramah, mourning and great weeping, Rachel weeping for her children and refusing to be comforted, because they are no more.” (niv)

These were the sons of Jacob, who were born to him in Paddan Aram. (niv)

If you take this one from me too and harm comes to him, you will bring my gray head down to the grave in misery.’“ So now, if the boy is not with us when I go back to your servant my father, and if my father, whose life is closely bound up with the boy’s life,sees that the boy isn’t there, he will die. Your servants will bring the gray head of our father down to the grave in sorrow. (niv)

Laban answered Jacob,“ The women are my daughters, the children are my children, and the flocks are my flocks. All you see is mine. Yet what can I do today about these daughters of mine, or about the children they have borne? (niv)
