雅各識之、曰、是吾子之衣也、彼為惡獸所食、約瑟破裂無疑矣、

雅各視之曰、誠吾子之衣也、是必為惡獸所食、肢體斷傷、無疑矣。

父識之曰、是誠吾子之衣也、必為惡獸所食、約瑟之身被噬無疑矣、

He recognized it and said,“ It is my son’s robe! Some ferocious animal has devoured him. Joseph has surely been torn to pieces.”

Jacob recognized it. He said,“ It’s my son’s robe! A wild animal has eaten him up. Joseph must have been torn to pieces.”

And he identified it and said,“ It is my son’s robe. A fierce animal has devoured him. Joseph is without doubt torn to pieces.”

Their father recognized it immediately.“ Yes,” he said,“ it is my son’s robe. A wild animal must have eaten him. Joseph has clearly been torn to pieces!”

His father recognized it.“ It is my son’s robe,” he said.“ A vicious animal has devoured him. Joseph has been torn to pieces!”

Then he examined it and said,“ It is my son’s tunic. A vicious animal has devoured him; Joseph has surely been torn to pieces!”

And he recognized it and said,“ It is my son’s tunic. A wild beast has devoured him. Without doubt Joseph is torn to pieces.”

And he knew it, and said, It is my son’s coat: an evil beast hath devoured him; Joseph is without doubt torn in pieces.

His father recognized it.“ It is my son’s robe,” he said.“ A vicious animal has devoured him. Joseph has been torn to pieces!”

And he knew it, and said,[ It is] my son’s coat; an evil beast hath devoured him; Joseph is without doubt rent in pieces.

He recognized it, and said,“ It is my son’s tunic. An evil animal has devoured him. Joseph is without doubt torn in pieces.”

The first disappeared and I said,“ He has surely been torn to pieces.” I have not seen him since.

Come now, let’s kill him, throw him into one of the cisterns, and then say that a wild animal ate him. Then we’ll see how his dreams turn out!”

As the prophet from Judah was traveling, a lion attacked him on the road and killed him. His corpse was lying on the road, and the donkey and the lion just stood there beside it.

When he turned around and saw them, he called God’s judgment down on them. Two female bears came out of the woods and ripped forty-two of the boys to pieces.

A naive person believes everything, but the shrewd person discerns his steps.

Jesus replied,“ You do not understand what I am doing now, but you will understand after these things.”
