Reuben heard it, and delivered him out of their hand, and said,“ Let’s not take his life.”

When Reuben heard this, he tried to rescue him from their hands.“ Let’s not take his life,” he said.

Don’t be afraid of those who kill the body, but are not able to kill the soul. Rather, fear him who is able to destroy both soul and body in Gehenna.
