“ Come now, let’s kill him and throw him into one of these cisterns and say that a ferocious animal devoured him. Then we’ll see what comes of his dreams.”

曰、生而為猶太人王者安在、我在東方見其星、故來拜之、希律王聞而懼、舉耶路撒冷皆然、乃召祭司諸長、民間士子、問曰、基督當何處生、僉曰、猶太伯利恆、昔先知載曰、猶太地伯利恆乎、在猶太郡中、爾非最小者、蓋將有君於爾是出、以牧我以色列民矣、於是希律密召博士、詳問星見之時、遂遣之往伯利恆、云、爾往、勤訪嬰兒、遇則告我、我亦將往拜、博士聞命而行、忽東方所見之星前導、至嬰兒所居、則止其上、博士見星、喜不自勝、入室、見嬰及母馬利亞、俯伏拜嬰、啟寶盒、以黃金、乳香、沒藥諸物獻、博士夢中得默示、令勿反見希律、則由他途而歸、○既歸、主之使者見夢於約瑟曰、起、攜嬰及母奔埃及、寓彼、待余示爾、蓋希律將索嬰殺之、約瑟遂起攜嬰及母、夜往埃及、寓彼、至希律薨、應主托先知言云、曾召吾子出埃及矣、○當時、希律知為博士所賣、怒甚、遣人將伯利恆境內所有之嬰、按其詳問博士時、凡二歲以下者殲之、

我言地、爾既弗信、況言天、爾豈能信乎、

既往之後、途間遇獅、為獅所殺、尸仆於途、獅立尸旁、驢遺於側。

以利沙回顧之、籲耶和華名、加以咒詛、遂有二牝熊、出林間、斷傷孺子四十二人。

掃羅簡於以色列族、得軍三千、往西弗野、以索大闢。

爾毀殿、三日建之、今宜自救也、爾若上帝子、可由十字架下矣、祭司諸長、士子、長老、亦如是譏曰、彼救他人、不能自救、若為以色列王、今由十字架而下、我即信之、

人之憤怒酷烈、勢若行潦、人懷嫉妒、誰能禦之。

如彼曰、爾我偕行、我匿於歧途、見無辜者殺之。彼猶生存、害之至死、如塚中尸僵、弗能動也。

目所視則傲慢、口所言則詭譎、手殺無辜、

自匿其非、不得納福、任過而改、可獲矜憫、

過者誚之、搖首曰、噫、爾毀殿、三日建之、今宜自救、由十字架下矣、祭司諸長、士子、戲亦如之、相告曰、彼救他人、不能自救耶、以色列王基督、今由十字架下、我見、則信矣、同釘者亦詬之、○

且我知爾必繼為王、治理以色列國、保其鞏固。
