蓋我儕素亦無知、悖逆、迷惑、役於情慾佚樂、以狠毒媢嫉度生、見惡於人、亦彼此相惡、

其足趨而行惡、疾以流血、

謀惡相勉、暗議設網、謂誰見之兮、

匿怨者口言誑、讒謗者為愚人、

斯二人將何以處之、蓋彼顯行異蹟、彰著於凡居耶路撒冷者、我儕不能言其無有也、惟免其廣播於民中、宜威嚇之、俾不復以斯名語人、遂召而戒之曰、勿以耶穌之名、是言是訓、

曰、生而為猶太人王者安在、我在東方見其星、故來拜之、希律王聞之惶懼、舉耶路撒冷皆然、乃集祭司諸長、及民間士子、問基督當生於何處、僉曰猶太之伯利恆、蓋先知載云、猶太地之伯利恆乎、在猶太郡中、爾非最小者、蓋將有君自爾出、牧我以色列民矣、於是希律密召博士、詢悉星見之時、遂遣之往伯利恆曰、爾往詳訪嬰兒、遇則告我、我亦往拜之、博士聞王命而往、東方所見之星前導、至嬰兒所在、則止其上、博士見星、喜不自勝、入室、見嬰及其母馬利亞、則俯伏拜嬰、啟櫝以黃金乳香沒藥獻之、乃於夢中得示、令勿返見希律、遂由他途而歸、○博士既去、主之使見夢於約瑟曰、起、攜嬰及其母、奔埃及、寓彼、俟余示爾、蓋希律將索嬰殲之、遂起、攜嬰及其母、夜往埃及、寓彼、至希律卒、以應主藉先知所言云、曾召吾子出埃及矣、時希律知為博士所愚、怒甚、遣人將伯利恆及四境所有之男嬰、按其詳問博士時、凡二歲以下者殄之、

我言屬地者、爾尚弗信、若言屬天者、爾詎信乎、

既往、有獅在途、遇而殺之、尸仆於途、驢立其側、獅亦立其旁、

以利沙回顧、奉耶和華名詛之、遂有牝熊二、自林中出、裂童子四十二、

掃羅起、率其所簡以色列眾三千人、下至西弗野、以索大衛、

爾毀殿、三日復建之、可自救也、爾若上帝子、則自十架下矣、祭司諸長、士子、長老、亦如是戲之曰、彼救他人、不能自救也、彼為以色列王、今自十架而下、我則信之、

怒乃殘忍、忿為狂瀾、至於嫉妒、孰能當之、

彼若曰、與我偕行、潛伏以流人血、無端隱伺無辜、生吞之如陰府、俾其壯健入墓、

即目傲舌謊、手流無辜之血、

蓋己過者、必不亨通、自承而改之者、必蒙矜恤、

我知爾必為王、以色列國堅定於爾手、
