Then he said to him,“ Please go and see if it is well with your brothers and well with the flocks, and bring back word to me.” So he sent him out of the Valley of Hebron, and he went to Shechem.

So he said to him,“ Go and see if all is well with your brothers and with the flocks, and bring word back to me.” Then he sent him off from the Valley of Hebron. When Joseph arrived at Shechem,

So Israel said to him,“ Go to your brothers. See how they are doing. Also see how the flocks are doing. Then come back and tell me.” So he sent him away from the Hebron Valley. Joseph arrived at Shechem.

So he said to him,“ Go now, see if it is well with your brothers and with the flock, and bring me word.” So he sent him from the Valley of Hebron, and he came to Shechem.

“ Go and see how your brothers and the flocks are getting along,” Jacob said.“ Then come back and bring me a report.” So Jacob sent him on his way, and Joseph traveled to Shechem from their home in the valley of Hebron.

Then Israel said to him,“ Go and see how your brothers and the flocks are doing, and bring word back to me.” So he sent him from the Hebron Valley, and he went to Shechem.

Then he said to him,“ Go now and see about the welfare of your brothers and the welfare of the flock, and bring word back to me.” So he sent him from the Valley of Hebron, and he came to Shechem.

And he said to him, Go now, see whether it is well with thy brethren, and well with the flock; and bring me word again. So he sent him out of the vale of Hebron, and he came to Shechem.

Then Israel said to him,“ Go and see how your brothers and the flocks are doing, and bring word back to me.” So he sent him from the Valley of Hebron, and he went to Shechem.

And he said to him, Go, I pray thee, see whether it be well with thy brethren, and well with the flocks; and bring me word again. So he sent him out of the vale of Hebron, and he came to Shechem.

So Jacob said to him,“ Go now and check on the welfare of your brothers and of the flocks, and bring me word.” So Jacob sent him from the valley of Hebron.

He said to him,“ Go now, see whether it is well with your brothers, and well with the flock; and bring me word again.” So he sent him out of the valley of Hebron, and he came to Shechem.

Then Jacob came to his father Isaac at Mamre, or Kirjath Arba( that is, Hebron), where Abraham and Isaac had dwelt.

And the name of Hebron formerly was Kirjath Arba( Arba was the greatest man among the Anakim). Then the land had rest from war.

saying,“ If you had known, even you, especially in this your day, the things that make for your peace! But now they are hidden from your eyes.

As for such as turn aside to their crooked ways, The Lord shall lead them away With the workers of iniquity. Peace be upon Israel!

So Sarah died in Kirjath Arba( that is, Hebron) in the land of Canaan, and Abraham came to mourn for Sarah and to weep for her.

Then Abram moved his tent, and went and dwelt by the terebinth trees of Mamre, which are in Hebron, and built an altar there to the Lord.

And seek the peace of the city where I have caused you to be carried away captive, and pray to the Lord for it; for in its peace you will have peace.

So he said to them,“ Is he well?” And they said,“ He is well. And look, his daughter Rachel is coming with the sheep.”

And they went up through the South and came to Hebron; Ahiman, Sheshai, and Talmai, the descendants of Anak, were there.( Now Hebron was built seven years before Zoan in Egypt.)

And the king said to the Cushite,“ Is the young man Absalom safe?” So the Cushite answered,“ May the enemies of my Lord the king, and all who rise against you to do harm, be like that young man!”

Then Jesse said to his son David,“ Take now for your brothers an ephah of this dried grain and these ten loaves, and run to your brothers at the camp.And carry these ten cheeses to the captain of their thousand, and see how your brothers fare, and bring back news of them.”

And Joshua blessed him, and gave Hebron to Caleb the son of Jephunneh as an inheritance.

So Joseph answered Pharaoh, saying,“ It is not in me; God will give Pharaoh an answer of peace.”

Their blood shall therefore return upon the head of Joab and upon the head of his descendants forever. But upon David and his descendants, upon his house and his throne, there shall be peace forever from the Lord.”
