Then he said to him,“ Go now and see about the welfare of your brothers and the welfare of the flock, and bring word back to me.” So he sent him from the Valley of Hebron, and he came to Shechem.

So he said to him,“ Go and see if all is well with your brothers and with the flocks, and bring word back to me.” Then he sent him off from the Valley of Hebron. When Joseph arrived at Shechem,

So Israel said to him,“ Go to your brothers. See how they are doing. Also see how the flocks are doing. Then come back and tell me.” So he sent him away from the Hebron Valley. Joseph arrived at Shechem.

So he said to him,“ Go now, see if it is well with your brothers and with the flock, and bring me word.” So he sent him from the Valley of Hebron, and he came to Shechem.

“ Go and see how your brothers and the flocks are getting along,” Jacob said.“ Then come back and bring me a report.” So Jacob sent him on his way, and Joseph traveled to Shechem from their home in the valley of Hebron.

Then Israel said to him,“ Go and see how your brothers and the flocks are doing, and bring word back to me.” So he sent him from the Hebron Valley, and he went to Shechem.

Then he said to him,“ Please go and see if it is well with your brothers and well with the flocks, and bring back word to me.” So he sent him out of the Valley of Hebron, and he went to Shechem.

And he said to him, Go, I pray thee, see whether it be well with thy brethren, and well with the flocks; and bring me word again. So he sent him out of the vale of Hebron, and he came to Shechem.

So Jacob said to him,“ Go now and check on the welfare of your brothers and of the flocks, and bring me word.” So Jacob sent him from the valley of Hebron.

He said to him,“ Go now, see whether it is well with your brothers, and well with the flock; and bring me word again.” So he sent him out of the valley of Hebron, and he came to Shechem.

Jacob came to his father Isaac at Mamre of Kiriath arba( that is, Hebron), where Abraham and Isaac had resided.

Now the name of Hebron was previously Kiriath arba; for Arba was the greatest man among the Anakim. Then the land was at rest from war.

saying,“ If you had known on this day, even you, the conditions for peace! But now they have been hidden from your eyes.

But as for those who turn aside to their crooked ways, The Lord will lead them away with those who practice injustice. Peace be upon Israel.

Sarah died in Kiriath arba( that is, Hebron) in the land of Canaan; and Abraham came in to mourn for Sarah and to weep for her.

Then Abram moved his tent and came and lived by the oaks of Mamre, which are in Hebron; and there he built an altar to the Lord.

Seek the prosperity of the city where I have sent you into exile, and pray to the Lord in its behalf; for in its prosperity will be your prosperity.’

And he said to them,“ Is it well with him?” And they said,“ It is well, and here is his daughter Rachel coming with the sheep.”

When they had gone up into the Negev, they came to Hebron where Ahiman, Sheshai, and Talmai, the descendants of Anak were.( Hebron was built seven years before Zoan in Egypt.)

Then the king said to the Cushite,“ Is it well with the young man Absalom?” And the Cushite answered,“ May the enemies of my lord the king, and all who rise up against you for evil, be like that young man!”

Then Jesse said to his son David,“ Take now for your brothers an ephah of this roasted grain and these ten loaves, and run to the camp to your brothers.Bring also these ten slices of cheese to the commander of their thousand, and look into the well being of your brothers and bring back confirmation from them.

So Joshua blessed him and gave Hebron to Caleb the son of Jephunneh as an inheritance.

Joseph then answered Pharaoh, saying,“ It has nothing to do with me; God will give Pharaoh an answer for his own good.”

So their blood shall return on the head of Joab and on the head of his descendants forever; but for David and his descendants, and his house and his throne, may there be peace from the Lord forever.”
