Israel said to Joseph,“ Your brothers are grazing the flocks near Shechem. Come, I will send you to them.”“ I’m ready,” Joseph replied.

and Israel said to Joseph,“ As you know, your brothers are grazing the flocks near Shechem. Come, I am going to send you to them.”“ Very well,” he replied.

Israel said to Joseph,“ As you know, your brothers are taking care of the flocks near Shechem. Come. I’m going to send you to them.”“ All right,” Joseph replied.

And Israel said to Joseph,“ Are not your brothers pasturing the flock at Shechem? Come, I will send you to them.” And he said to him,“ Here I am.”

When they had been gone for some time, Jacob said to Joseph,“ Your brothers are pasturing the sheep at Shechem. Get ready, and I will send you to them.”“ I’m ready to go,” Joseph replied.

Israel said to Joseph,“ Your brothers, you know, are pasturing the flocks at Shechem. Get ready. I’m sending you to them.”“ I’m ready,” Joseph replied.

And Israel said to Joseph,“ Are your brothers not pasturing the flock in Shechem? Come, and I will send you to them.” And he said to him,“ I will go.”

And Israel said to Joseph,“ Are not your brothers feeding the flock in Shechem? Come, I will send you to them.” So he said to him,“ Here I am.”

And Israel said unto Joseph, Are not thy brethren feeding the flock in Shechem? come, and I will send thee unto them. And he said to him, Here am I.

Israel said to Joseph,“ Your brothers, you know, are pasturing the flocks at Shechem. Get ready. I’m sending you to them.”“ I’m ready,” Joseph replied.

And Israel said unto Joseph, Do not thy brethren feed[ the flock] in Shechem? come, and I will send thee unto them. And he said to him, Here[ am I].

Israel said to Joseph,“ Aren’t your brothers feeding the flock in Shechem? Come, and I will send you to them.” He said to him,“ Here I am.”

He went to his father and said,“ My father!” Isaac replied,“ Here I am. Which are you, my son?”

However, Eli called Samuel and said,“ Samuel, my son!” He replied,“ Here I am.”

When Isaac was old and his eyes were so weak that he was almost blind, he called his older son Esau and said to him,“ My son!”“ Here I am!” Esau replied.

The LORD called to Samuel, and he replied,“ Here I am!”Then he ran to Eli and said,“ Here I am, for you called me.” But Eli said,“ I didn’t call you. Go back and lie down.” So he went back and lay down.The LORD again called,“ Samuel!” So Samuel got up and went to Eli and said,“ Here I am, for you called me.” But Eli said,“ I didn’t call you, my son. Go back and lie down.”

Then the LORD called Samuel a third time. So he got up and went to Eli and said,“ Here I am, for you called me!” Eli then realized that it was the LORD who was calling the boy.

Some time after these things God tested Abraham. He said to him,“ Abraham!”“ Here I am!” Abraham replied.

Then the owner of the vineyard said,‘ What should I do? I will send my one dear son; perhaps they will respect him.’

“ I am sending you out like sheep surrounded by wolves, so be wise as serpents and innocent as doves.

Children, obey your parents in the Lord for this is right.“ Honor your father and mother,” which is the first commandment accompanied by a promise, namely,“ that it may go well with you and that you will live a long time on the earth.”

Jesse said to his son David,“ Take your brothers this ephah of roasted grain and these ten loaves of bread; go quickly to the camp to your brothers.Also take these ten portions of cheese to their commanding officer. Find out how your brothers are doing and bring back their pledge that they received the goods.They are with Saul and the whole Israelite army in the valley of Elah, fighting with the Philistines.”So David got up early in the morning and entrusted the flock to someone else who would watch over it. After loading up, he went just as Jesse had instructed him. He arrived at the camp as the army was going out to the battle lines shouting its battle cry.
