以色列把约瑟叫来，对他说：“你哥哥们在示剑放羊，我要派你去他们那里。”约瑟说：“好的。”

以色列对约瑟说：“你的哥哥们不是在示剑牧放羊群吗？来吧，我要派你到他们那里去。”约瑟回答他：“我在这里。”

以色列对约瑟说：“你哥哥们不正在示剑放牧吗？你来，我要派你到他们那里去。”约瑟对他说：“我在这里！”

and Israel said to Joseph,“ As you know, your brothers are grazing the flocks near Shechem. Come, I am going to send you to them.”“ Very well,” he replied.

Israel said to Joseph,“ As you know, your brothers are taking care of the flocks near Shechem. Come. I’m going to send you to them.”“ All right,” Joseph replied.

And Israel said to Joseph,“ Are not your brothers pasturing the flock at Shechem? Come, I will send you to them.” And he said to him,“ Here I am.”

When they had been gone for some time, Jacob said to Joseph,“ Your brothers are pasturing the sheep at Shechem. Get ready, and I will send you to them.”“ I’m ready to go,” Joseph replied.

Israel said to Joseph,“ Your brothers, you know, are pasturing the flocks at Shechem. Get ready. I’m sending you to them.”“ I’m ready,” Joseph replied.

And Israel said to Joseph,“ Are your brothers not pasturing the flock in Shechem? Come, and I will send you to them.” And he said to him,“ I will go.”

And Israel said to Joseph,“ Are not your brothers feeding the flock in Shechem? Come, I will send you to them.” So he said to him,“ Here I am.”

And Israel said unto Joseph, Are not thy brethren feeding the flock in Shechem? come, and I will send thee unto them. And he said to him, Here am I.

Israel said to Joseph,“ Your brothers, you know, are pasturing the flocks at Shechem. Get ready. I’m sending you to them.”“ I’m ready,” Joseph replied.

And Israel said unto Joseph, Do not thy brethren feed[ the flock] in Shechem? come, and I will send thee unto them. And he said to him, Here[ am I].

Israel said to Joseph,“ Your brothers are grazing the flocks near Shechem. Come, I will send you to them.”“ I’m ready,” Joseph replied.

Israel said to Joseph,“ Aren’t your brothers feeding the flock in Shechem? Come, and I will send you to them.” He said to him,“ Here I am.”

雅各進去見他父親，說：『阿爸。』以撒說：『嗯；孩子啊，你是誰？』

以利就呼喚撒母耳說：『我兒撒母耳啊！』撒母耳說：『我在這裏呢。』

以撒老邁，眼睛昏花，不能看見，就叫了他的大兒子以掃來，對他說：『孩子。』以掃對以撒說：『看哪，我在這裏。』

永恆主呼喚了撒母耳；撒母耳說：『我在這裏呢。』就跑到以利跟前說：『你呼喚我；我在這裏呢。』以利說：『我沒有呼喚你；你回去睡吧！』他就去睡。永恆主又再呼喚撒母耳；撒母耳起來，到以利跟前說：『你呼喚我；我在這裏呢。』以利說：『我兒啊，我沒有呼喚你；你回去睡吧！』

永恆主第三次又呼喚了撒母耳；撒母耳起來，到以利跟前說：『你呼喚我；我在這裏呢。』以利這才明白是永恆主在呼喚孩子。

這些事以後，上帝要試驗亞伯拉罕，就對他說：『亞伯拉罕』；亞伯拉罕說：『我在這裏呢。』

葡萄園主說：「我要怎麼辦呢？我要差我所愛的兒子去；或者他們會尊敬他。」

『看吧，我差遣你們如同綿羊在豺狼中間；所以你們要靈巧像蛇，要天真像鴿子。

做兒女的、你們要聽從你們的父母；因為這是理所當然的。『要孝敬你的父親和母親，使你亨通，在地上長壽』：這是第一條帶着應許的誡命。

有一天，耶西對他兒子大衛說：『你拿這一伊法焙了的穀子、和這十個餅去給你哥哥們，要迅速地送到營裏去給你哥哥們。也要把這十塊乾酪帶去送千夫長，查看你哥哥們平安不，向他們要個憑證來。掃羅和你哥哥們跟以色列眾人、是在以拉谷同非利士人交戰的。』天一亮、大衛清早起來，將羊羣交給一個看守的人，照耶西所吩咐他的，拿起食物來、就走，到了輜重營，軍兵剛出陣，在戰場上吶喊。
