以色列把约瑟叫来，对他说：“你哥哥们在示剑放羊，我要派你去他们那里。”约瑟说：“好的。”

以色列对约瑟说：“你哥哥们不是在示剑放羊吗？你来，我要打发你往他们那里去。”约瑟说：“我在这里。”

以色列对约瑟说：“你哥哥们不是在示剑放羊吗？来，我派你到他们那里去。”约瑟对他说：“我在这里。”

以色列对约瑟说：“你哥哥们不是在示剑放羊吗？来，我派你到他们那里去。”约瑟对他说：“我在这里。”

以色列对约瑟说：“你的哥哥们不是在示剑牧放羊群吗？来吧，我要派你到他们那里去。”约瑟回答他：“我在这里。”

and Israel said to Joseph,“ As you know, your brothers are grazing the flocks near Shechem. Come, I am going to send you to them.”“ Very well,” he replied.

Israel said to Joseph,“ As you know, your brothers are taking care of the flocks near Shechem. Come. I’m going to send you to them.”“ All right,” Joseph replied.

And Israel said to Joseph,“ Are not your brothers pasturing the flock at Shechem? Come, I will send you to them.” And he said to him,“ Here I am.”

When they had been gone for some time, Jacob said to Joseph,“ Your brothers are pasturing the sheep at Shechem. Get ready, and I will send you to them.”“ I’m ready to go,” Joseph replied.

Israel said to Joseph,“ Your brothers, you know, are pasturing the flocks at Shechem. Get ready. I’m sending you to them.”“ I’m ready,” Joseph replied.

And Israel said to Joseph,“ Are your brothers not pasturing the flock in Shechem? Come, and I will send you to them.” And he said to him,“ I will go.”

And Israel said to Joseph,“ Are not your brothers feeding the flock in Shechem? Come, I will send you to them.” So he said to him,“ Here I am.”

And Israel said unto Joseph, Are not thy brethren feeding the flock in Shechem? come, and I will send thee unto them. And he said to him, Here am I.

Israel said to Joseph,“ Your brothers, you know, are pasturing the flocks at Shechem. Get ready. I’m sending you to them.”“ I’m ready,” Joseph replied.

And Israel said unto Joseph, Do not thy brethren feed[ the flock] in Shechem? come, and I will send thee unto them. And he said to him, Here[ am I].

Israel said to Joseph,“ Your brothers are grazing the flocks near Shechem. Come, I will send you to them.”“ I’m ready,” Joseph replied.

Israel said to Joseph,“ Aren’t your brothers feeding the flock in Shechem? Come, and I will send you to them.” He said to him,“ Here I am.”

雅各来到父亲跟前，叫了一声：“父亲。”以撒回答说：“我在这里，孩子，你是谁？”

以利叫他：“撒母耳，我的孩子。”撒母耳答道：“我在这里。”

以撒年老的时候，眼睛昏花，几乎看不见。他把大儿子以扫叫来，说：“我儿啊！”以扫说：“我在这里。”

耶和华呼唤撒母耳，撒母耳答道：“我在这里！”他跑到以利跟前，说：“我来了，你叫我吗？”以利说：“我没有叫你，你去睡吧。”于是，他就回去睡觉。耶和华又呼唤撒母耳，撒母耳起来到以利跟前，说：“我来了，你叫我吗？”以利答道：“孩子，我没有叫你，回去睡吧。”

耶和华第三次呼唤他，撒母耳起来，到以利面前，说：“我来了，你叫我吗？”这时候，以利才明白原来是耶和华在呼唤这孩子。

这些事以后，上帝要考验亚伯拉罕，就呼唤他：“亚伯拉罕！”他回答说：“我在这里。”

“园主说，‘我该怎样办呢？不如叫我所疼爱的儿子去吧。他们大概会尊敬他。’

“听着，我差你们出去，就好像使羊走进狼群一般。所以，你们要像蛇一样机灵，像鸽子一样驯良。

你们为人子女的，要按主的旨意听从父母，这是理所当然的。因为第一条带着应许的诫命就是：“要孝敬父母，使你在世上蒙祝福、享长寿。”

一天，耶西对大卫说：“你带上十公斤烤麦和十个饼，赶快到军营中送给你的哥哥们。再带十块奶饼送给他们的千夫长，看望一下他们，带个信儿回来。他们跟随扫罗率领的以色列军在以拉谷跟非利士人打仗。”大卫清早起来把羊交给一个牧人看顾，然后照父亲的吩咐带着食物出发了。他来到军营的时候，大军正吶喊着出战。
