Jacob was terrified at the news. He divided his household, along with the flocks and herds and camels, into two groups.

Then Jacob made this vow:“ If God will indeed be with me and protect me on this journey, and if he will provide me with food and clothing,and if I return safely to my father’s home, then the Lord will certainly be my God.And this memorial pillar I have set up will become a place for worshiping God, and I will present to God a tenth of everything he gives me.”

Let all that I am praise the Lord; with my whole heart, I will praise his holy name.Let all that I am praise the Lord; may I never forget the good things he does for me.He forgives all my sins and heals all my diseases.He redeems me from death and crowns me with love and tender mercies.He fills my life with good things. My youth is renewed like the eagle’s!

Let them praise the Lord for his great love and for the wonderful things he has done for them.

When they call on me, I will answer; I will be with them in trouble. I will rescue and honor them.

Open for me the gates where the righteous enter, and I will go in and thank the Lord.These gates lead to the presence of the Lord, and the godly enter there.I thank you for answering my prayer and giving me victory!The stone that the builders rejected has now become the cornerstone.
