你穿越洪涛，我必与你同在；你渡过江河，必不会被水淹没；你在火中走过，必不会被烧伤，火焰不会烧到你身上。

雅各听了非常害怕，便把随从、牛群、羊群和骆驼分成两队，

如果不是我父亲以撒敬畏的上帝，就是亚伯拉罕的上帝与我同在，你肯定会让我两手空空地回家。但上帝看见了我的难处和劳苦，所以在昨夜责备了你。”

凡事都要寻求祂，祂必指引你走正路。

自己独自留下。这时，有一个人来和他摔跤，直到黎明。

我与你同在，无论你去哪里，我都会保护你，领你返回这片土地。我必实现对你的应许，决不离弃你。”

我要带着燔祭来到你殿中，履行我向你许的誓言，就是我在危难中许下的誓言。

梦中看见有个梯子立在地上，直通到天上，梯子上有上帝的天使上上下下。耶和华站在梯子上对雅各说：“我是耶和华，是你祖父亚伯拉罕的上帝，也是以撒的上帝。我要把你现在躺卧的地方赐给你和你的后代。

上帝是我们的避难所，是我们的力量，是我们患难中随时的帮助。

耶和华啊！我是你的仆人，是你的仆人，是你婢女的儿子。你除去了我的锁链。我要向你献上感恩祭，呼求你的名。我要在耶路撒冷，在耶和华的殿中，在耶和华的子民面前还我向祂许的愿。你们要赞美耶和华！

雅各许愿说：“如果上帝与我同在，在路上保护我，供给我衣食，带领我平安地回到父亲的家，我就一定敬奉耶和华为我的上帝。我立为柱子的这块石头必成为上帝的殿。凡你赐给我的，我必把十分之一献给你。”

我的心啊，要称颂耶和华，我要全心全意地称颂祂的圣名。我的心啊，要称颂耶和华，不要忘记祂的一切恩惠。祂赦免我一切的罪恶，医治我一切的疾病。祂救赎我的生命脱离死亡，以慈爱和怜悯环绕我。祂以美物满足我的愿望，使我如鹰一般恢复青春。

他们当称谢耶和华的慈爱，称谢祂为世人所行的奇事。

他求告我，我就答应他；他遭遇患难，我必与他同在。我必拯救他，赐他尊贵的地位。

给我打开圣殿的门吧，我要进去称谢耶和华。这是耶和华的门，义人都可以进去。耶和华啊！我称谢你，因为你听了我的祷告，拯救了我。工匠丢弃的石头已成了房角石。
