神對他說：“你的名原是雅各，但以後不要再叫雅各，以色列才是你的名。”這樣，神給他改名叫以色列。

且对他说：“你的名原是雅各，从今以后不要再叫雅各，要叫以色列。”这样，他就改名叫以色列。

上帝对他说：“你的名原是雅各，从今以后不要再叫雅各，你的名要叫以色列。”于是，上帝就叫他的名为以色列。

神对他说：“你的名原是雅各，从今以后不要再叫雅各，你的名要叫以色列。”于是，神就叫他的名为以色列。

上帝对他说：“你叫雅各，但从今以后不要再叫雅各了，你要改名叫以色列。”这样雅各改名为以色列。

神对他说：“你的名原是雅各，但以后不要再叫雅各，以色列才是你的名。”这样，神给他改名叫以色列。

神对他说：“你的名字是雅各，但今后不要再叫雅各了，你的名字要叫以色列。”这样，神就给他起名为以色列。

曰、爾名雅各、今而後不復稱此、當名以色列、遂名之曰以色列、

爾素名雅各、斯後不第稱此、可更名以色列、遂稱曰以色列。

天主諭之曰、爾素名稱雅各、今而後爾名不復稱雅各、乃稱以色列、遂稱其名為以色列、

God said to him,“ Your name is Jacob, but you will no longer be called Jacob; your name will be Israel.” So he named him Israel.

God said to him,“ Your name is Jacob. But you will not be called Jacob anymore. Your name will be Israel.” So he named him Israel.

And God said to him,“ Your name is Jacob; no longer shall your name be called Jacob, but Israel shall be your name.” So he called his name Israel.

saying,“ Your name is Jacob, but you will not be called Jacob any longer. From now on your name will be Israel.” So God renamed him Israel.

God said to him,“ Your name is Jacob; you will no longer be named Jacob, but your name will be Israel.” So he named him Israel.

God said to him,“ Your name is Jacob; You shall no longer be called Jacob, But Israel shall be your name.” So He called him Israel.

And God said to him,“ Your name is Jacob; your name shall not be called Jacob anymore, but Israel shall be your name.” So He called his name Israel.

And God said unto him, Thy name is Jacob: thy name shall not be called any more Jacob, but Israel shall be thy name: and he called his name Israel.

God said to him: Your name is Jacob; you will no longer be named Jacob, but your name will be Israel. So He named him Israel.

And God said unto him, Thy name[ is] Jacob: thy name shall not be called any more Jacob, but Israel shall be thy name: and he called his name Israel.

God said to him,“ Your name is Jacob, but your name will no longer be called Jacob; Israel will be your name.” So God named him Israel.

God said to him,“ Your name is Jacob. Your name shall not be Jacob any more, but your name will be Israel.” He named him Israel.

你的名不要再叫亞伯蘭，要叫亞伯拉罕，因為我已經立了你作萬國的父。

那人問他：“你叫甚麼名字？”他回答：“雅各。”那人說：“你的名字不要再叫雅各，要叫以色列，因為你與神與人較力，都得了勝。”

神又對亞伯拉罕說：“至於你的妻子撒萊，不要再叫她的名撒萊，要叫撒拉。

直到今日，他們仍是按照他們初時的習俗去行；他們不敬畏耶和華，行事不按他們的規例和典章，也不按耶和華曾吩咐雅各的子孫的律法和誡命。耶和華曾給雅各起名為以色列。

以利亞照著雅各子孫支派的數目，拿了十二塊石頭。（耶和華的話曾臨到雅各說：“你的名要叫以色列。”）
