惟有你们是被拣选的族类，是有君尊的祭司，是圣洁的国度，是属神的子民，要叫你们宣扬那召你们出黑暗、入奇妙光明者的美德。

耶和华啊，你的法度最的确；你的殿永称为圣，是合宜的。

至于淫乱并一切污秽，或是贪婪，在你们中间连提都不可，方合圣徒的体统。

并且她们又习惯懒惰，挨家闲游；不但是懒惰，又说长道短，好管闲事，说些不当说的话。

你们要逃避淫行。人所犯的，无论什么罪，都在身子以外，惟有行淫的，是得罪自己的身子。

我们也不要行奸淫，像他们有人行的，一天就倒毙了二万三千人；

如今你们若实在听从我的话，遵守我的约，就要在万民中作属我的子民，因为全地都是我的。你们要归我作祭司的国度，为圣洁的国民。’这些话你要告诉以色列人。”
