然而你们是蒙拣选的族类，是君尊的祭司，是圣洁的国民，是属神的子民，为要叫你们宣扬那召你们出黑暗入奇妙光明者的美德。

耶和华啊！你的法度极为确定；你的殿永远被称为圣是合宜的。

至于淫乱和任何污秽或贪心的事，在你们中间连提都不可提，才合圣徒的体统。

同时，她们懒惰惯了，挨家闲游；不但懒惰，而且好说闲话，好管闲事，说不该说的话。

你们要逃避淫乱的事。人所犯的，无论是什么罪，都是在身体以外，唯有行淫乱的，是触犯自己的身体。

我们也不可淫乱，像他们有些人那样，一天就死了二万三千人。

现在你们若是实在听我的话，遵守我的约，你们就必在万民中作属我的产业，因为全地都是我的。你们要归我作君尊的祭司和圣洁的国民。’这些话你都要对以色列人说。”

所以要治死你们在地上的肢体，就如淫乱、污秽、邪情、恶欲和贪心，贪心就是拜偶像。
