So Shechem spoke to his father Hamor, saying,“ Get me this young woman as a wife.”

So Shechem spoke to his father Hamor, saying,“ Get me this girl for my wife.”

He said to his father, Hamor,“ Get me this young girl. I want to marry her.”

“ Get me this girl as a wife,” he told his father.

So Shechem spoke to his father Hamor, saying,“ Get me this young woman as a wife.”

And Shechem spake unto his father Hamor, saying, Get me this damsel to wife.

“ Get me this girl as a wife,” he told his father Hamor.

And Shechem spake unto his father Hamor, saying, Get me this damsel to wife.

Shechem said to his father Hamor,“ Acquire this young girl as my wife.”

Shechem spoke to his father, Hamor, saying,“ Get me this young lady as a wife.”

So he came back and told his father and mother,“ I saw a woman in Timnah, one of the daughters of the Philistines; so now, get her for me as a wife.”

As for me, where could I get rid of my shame? And as for you, you will be like one of the fools in Israel. Now then, please speak to the king, for he will not withhold me from you.”
