那人說：「誰立你作我們的領袖和審判官呢？難道你要殺我，像殺那埃及人一樣嗎？」摩西就懼怕，說：「這事一定是讓人知道了。」

你起來，去叫百姓分別為聖，說：『你們要為了明天使自己分別為聖，因為耶和華－以色列的上帝這樣說：以色列啊，在你中間有當滅的物；你們若不把你們中間當滅之物除掉，你在仇敵面前必站立不住！』
