就在這一天，亞伯拉罕就照上帝所對他說的，拉了他的兒子以實瑪利和自己家中的男人，一切男子，就是所有在家裏生的、和所有用銀子買的，都在他們包皮肉上給行了割禮。

受割禮算不了甚麼，沒受割禮也算不了甚麼，只有遵守上帝的誡命最要緊。

都定準歸於亞伯拉罕做產業，是他在赫人和出入城門的人眼前買妥了的。
