Because their sister Dinah had been defiled, Jacob’s sons replied deceitfully as they spoke to Shechem and his father Hamor.

Their sister Dinah had been raped. So Jacob’s sons lied to Shechem and his father Hamor.

Do not fear; have I not commanded you myself? Be courageous and be valiant.”And the servants of Absalom did to Amnon just as Absalom had commanded. Then all the king’s sons got up and each mounted his mule and fled.

But you smear me with lies; You are all worthless physicians.

Samson then said to them,“ This time I will have been blameless regarding the Philistines when I do them harm.”

See that no one repays another with evil for evil, but always seek what is good for one another and for all people.
