Then Jacob prayed,“ You are the God of my grandfather Abraham. You are the God of my father Isaac. Lord, you are the one who said to me,‘ Go back to your country and your relatives. Then I will give you success.’

雅各说：“耶和华我祖亚伯拉罕的神，我父亲以撒的神啊，你曾对我说：‘回你本地本族去，我要厚待你。’

雅各说：“耶和华—我祖父亚伯拉罕的上帝，我父亲以撒的上帝啊，你曾对我说：‘回你本地本族去，我要厚待你。’

雅各说：“耶和华—我祖父亚伯拉罕的神，我父亲以撒的神啊，你曾对我说：‘回你本地本族去，我要厚待你。’

他祷告说：“耶和华，我祖父亚伯拉罕和我父亲以撒的上帝啊！你吩咐我回到家乡和亲族那里，答应厚待我。

雅各说：“耶和华，我祖亚伯拉罕的神，我父以撒的神啊，你曾经对我说过：‘回到你自己的故乡，到你的亲族那里去，我必厚待你。’

雅各说：“我祖父亚伯拉罕的神，我父亲以撒的神耶和华啊，你曾对我说：‘回到你的本土本族，我必厚待你。’

雅各說：「耶和華－我祖亞伯拉罕的神，我父親以撒的神啊，你曾對我說：『回你本地本族去，我要厚待你。』

雅各說：「耶和華－我祖父亞伯拉罕的上帝，我父親以撒的上帝啊，你曾對我說：『回你本地本族去，我要厚待你。』

雅各說：「耶和華－我祖父亞伯拉罕的神，我父親以撒的神啊，你曾對我說：『回你本地本族去，我要厚待你。』

他禱告說：「耶和華，我祖父亞伯拉罕和我父親以撒的上帝啊！你吩咐我回到家鄉和親族那裡，答應厚待我。

雅各說：“耶和華，我祖亞伯拉罕的神，我父以撒的神啊，你曾經對我說過：‘回到你自己的故鄉，到你的親族那裡去，我必厚待你。’

雅各說：『永恆主，我祖亞伯拉罕的上帝，我父以撒的上帝啊，你曾對我說：「回你本地、你本親族那裏去；我要好待你。」

雅各說：「我祖父亞伯拉罕的神，我父親以撒的神耶和華啊，你曾對我說：『回到你的本土本族，我必厚待你。』

遂禱曰、吾祖亞伯拉罕之上帝、吾父以撒之上帝耶和華歟、昔爾命我回故土、返戚屬、許待以善、

遂禱曰吾祖亞伯拉罕之上帝、吾父以撒之上帝耶和華、昔命我回故土、故族、許以恩待、

雅各遂禱曰、吾祖亞伯拉罕之天主、吾父以撒之天主耶和華歟、昔命我云、返爾故土故族、我必賜恩於爾、

Then Jacob prayed,“ O God of my father Abraham, God of my father Isaac, Lord, you who said to me,‘ Go back to your country and your relatives, and I will make you prosper,’

And Jacob said,“ O God of my father Abraham and God of my father Isaac, O Lord who said to me,‘ Return to your country and to your kindred, that I may do you good,’

Then Jacob prayed,“ O God of my grandfather Abraham, and God of my father, Isaac— O Lord, you told me,‘ Return to your own land and to your relatives.’ And you promised me,‘ I will treat you kindly.’

Then Jacob said,“ God of my father Abraham and God of my father Isaac, the LORD who said to me,‘ Go back to your land and to your family, and I will cause you to prosper,’

Then Jacob said,“ God of my father Abraham and God of my father Isaac, Lord, who said to me,‘ Return to your country and to your relatives, and I will make you prosper,’

Then Jacob said,“ O God of my father Abraham and God of my father Isaac, the Lord who said to me,‘ return to your country and to your family, and I will deal well with you’:

And Jacob said, O God of my father Abraham, and God of my father Isaac, O Jehovah, who saidst unto me, Return unto thy country, and to thy kindred, and I will do thee good:

Then Jacob said,“ God of my father Abraham and God of my father Isaac, the Lord who said to me,‘ Go back to your land and to your family, and I will cause you to prosper,’

And Jacob said, O God of my father Abraham, and God of my father Isaac, the LORD which saidst unto me, Return unto thy country, and to thy kindred, and I will deal well with thee:

Then Jacob prayed,“ O God of my father Abraham, God of my father Isaac, O LORD, you said to me,‘ Return to your land and to your relatives and I will make you prosper.’

Jacob said,“ God of my father Abraham, and God of my father Isaac, Yahweh, who said to me,‘ Return to your country, and to your relatives, and I will do you good,’

But the God of my father was with me. He is the God of Abraham and the God Isaac worshiped. If he hadn’t been with me, you would surely have sent me away without anything to show for all my work. But God has seen my hard times. He has seen all the work my hands have done. So last night he warned you.”

I am the God of Bethel. That is where you poured olive oil on a sacred stone. There you made a promise to me. Now leave this land. Go back to your own land.’ ”

The Lord stood beside the stairway. He said,“ I am the Lord. I am the God of your grandfather Abraham and the God of Isaac. I will give you and your children after you the land you are lying on.

Then the Lord spoke to Jacob. He said,“ Go back to your father’s land and to your relatives. I will be with you.”

The God of Abraham and Nahor is also the God of their father. May their God decide which of us is right.” So Jacob made a promise using the name of the God his father Isaac worshiped.

David was greatly troubled. His men were even talking about killing him by throwing stones at him. All of them were very bitter because their sons and daughters had been taken away. But David was made strong by the Lord his God.

He said,“ Lord, you are the God of our people who lived long ago. You are the God who is in heaven. You rule over all the kingdoms of the nations. You are strong and powerful. No one can fight against you and win.

I looked to the Lord, and he answered me. He saved me from everything I was afraid of.Those who look to him have joyful faces. They are never covered with shame.This poor man called out, and the Lord heard him. He saved him out of all his troubles.

He continued,“ I am the God of your father. I am the God of Abraham. I am the God of Isaac. And I am the God of Jacob.” When Moses heard that, he turned his face away. He was afraid to look at God.

King Hezekiah cried out in prayer to God in heaven. He prayed about the problem Jerusalem was facing. So did Isaiah the prophet. He was the son of Amoz.

Don’t worry about anything. No matter what happens, tell God about everything. Ask and pray, and give thanks to him.Then God’s peace will watch over your hearts and your minds. He will do this because you belong to Christ Jesus. God’s peace can never be completely understood.

Our God, won’t you please judge them? We don’t have the power to face this huge army that’s attacking us. We don’t know what to do. But we’re looking to you to help us.”

I will make my covenant with you last forever. It will be between me and you and your family after you for all time to come. I will be your God. And I will be the God of all your family after you.

Call out to me when trouble comes. I will save you. And you will honor me.”

I have the power to harm you. But last night the God of your father spoke to me. He said,‘ Be careful. Do not say anything to Jacob, whether it is good or bad.’

He will call out to me, and I will answer him. I will be with him in times of trouble. I will save him and honor him.
