堅門徒心、勸其恆信、又言我儕欲入天主國、必歷多難、

蓋天主賦之以智慧、教之如是、

智謀必保爾、明哲必護爾、

我遭患難時、天主即慰我、使我以天主慰我之慰、慰諸遭患難之人、

求主向我右觀視、無人認識我、我無處避難、無人問我安危、

我以此告爾、為使爾因我而安、在世爾必遇患難、然爾毋懼、我已勝世矣、

我心在我懷中、甚為憂懼、死之驚恐、臨及我身、我甚恐懼驚惶、遍身戰慄、
