以掃說：「我所遇見的這些羣畜是甚麼意思呢？」雅各說：「是要在我主面前蒙恩的。」

以掃說：「容我把跟隨我的人留幾個在你這裏。」雅各說：「何必呢？只要在我主眼前蒙恩就是了。」

哈拿說：「願婢女在你眼前蒙恩。」於是婦人走去吃飯，面上再不帶愁容了。

求你收下我帶來給你的禮物；因為神恩待我，使我充足。」雅各再三地求他，他才收下了。

摩押女子路得對拿俄米說：「容我往田間去，我蒙誰的恩，就在誰的身後拾取麥穗。」拿俄米說：「女兒啊，你只管去。」

他們說：「你救了我們的性命。但願我們在我主眼前蒙恩，我們就作法老的僕人。」

神從我們父親所奪出來的一切財物，那就是我們和我們孩子們的。現今凡神所吩咐你的，你只管去行吧！」

王對洗巴說：「凡屬米非波設的都歸你了。」洗巴說：「我叩拜我主我王，願我在你眼前蒙恩。」

我豈說：請你們供給我，從你們的財物中送禮物給我？

於是雅各極其發大，得了許多的羊羣、僕婢、駱駝，和驢。雅各聽見拉班的兒子們有話說：「雅各把我們父親所有的都奪了去，並藉着我們父親的，得了這一切的榮耀。」
