以掃又問：“我遇見的這一群牲畜，是甚麼意思呢？”雅各回答：“是要討我主喜悅的。”

以掃說：“讓我把跟隨我的人留幾個在你這裡吧。”雅各說：“為甚麼要這樣呢？只要我得我主的喜悅就是了。”

哈拿說：“願你的婢女在你眼前蒙恩！”於是這婦人回去，並且吃飯，臉上再沒有愁容。

請你收下我帶來給你的禮物，因為神施恩給我，我甚麼都有了。”雅各再三懇求他，他才收下了。

摩押女子路得對拿俄米說：“讓我到田裡去，我在誰的眼前蒙恩，我就跟在誰的背後撿麥穗。”拿俄米說：“女兒啊，你儘管去。”

他們說：“你救了我們；願我們在我主面前得蒙喜悅，我們就作法老的奴僕。”

神從我們父親奪回來的一切財物，都是屬於我們和我們的兒女的。現在神吩咐你的一切，你只管作吧。”

王對洗巴說：“看哪！凡屬米非波設所有的，都歸給你了。”洗巴說：“我叩拜我主我王，願我在你眼前蒙恩！”

難道我說過‘請供給我’，或說‘取你們的財物餽贈我’嗎？

於是，雅各變得非常富有，擁有很多羊群、僕婢、駱駝和驢。雅各聽見拉班的眾子談論，說：“雅各把我們父親所有的都奪去了，他這一切財物，都是從我們父親的財產那裡得來的。”
