just as He had done for the descendants of Esau, who dwelt in Seir, when He destroyed the Horites from before them. They dispossessed them and dwelt in their place, even to this day.

So Esau returned that day on his way to Seir.

So Esau hated Jacob because of the blessing with which his father blessed him, and Esau said in his heart,“ The days of mourning for my father are at hand; then I will kill my brother Jacob.”And the words of Esau her older son were told to Rebekah. So she sent and called Jacob her younger son, and said to him,“ Surely your brother Esau comforts himself concerning you by intending to kill you.

“ Behold, I send My messenger, And he will prepare the way before Me. And the Lord, whom you seek, Will suddenly come to His temple, Even the Messenger of the covenant, In whom you delight. Behold, He is coming,” Says the Lord of hosts.

Or what king, going to make war against another king, does not sit down first and consider whether he is able with ten thousand to meet him who comes against him with twenty thousand?Or else, while the other is still a great way off, he sends a delegation and asks conditions of peace.
