When the man saw that he could not overpower him, he touched the socket of Jacob’s hip so that his hip was wrenched as he wrestled with the man.

The man saw that he couldn’t win. So he touched the inside of Jacob’s hip. As Jacob wrestled with the man, Jacob’s hip was twisted.

When the man saw that he did not prevail against Jacob, he touched his hip socket, and Jacob’s hip was put out of joint as he wrestled with him.

When the man saw that he would not win the match, he touched Jacob’s hip and wrenched it out of its socket.

When the man saw that he could not defeat him, he struck Jacob’s hip socket as they wrestled and dislocated his hip.

When the man saw that he had not prevailed against him, he touched the socket of Jacob’s hip; and the socket of Jacob’s hip was dislocated while he wrestled with him.

Now when He saw that He did not prevail against him, He touched the socket of his hip; and the socket of Jacob’s hip was out of joint as He wrestled with him.

And when he saw that he prevailed not against him, he touched the hollow of his thigh; and the hollow of Jacob’s thigh was strained, as he wrestled with him.

When the man saw that He could not defeat him, He struck Jacob’s hip socket as they wrestled and dislocated his hip.

又因為我所得的啟示太大，恐怕會高抬自己，所以就有一根刺加在我的身上，就是撒但的差役來攻擊我，免得我高抬自己。為了這事，我曾經三次求主，使這根刺離開我。他卻對我說：“我的恩典是夠你用的，因為我的能力在人的軟弱上顯得完全。”所以，我更喜歡誇自己的軟弱，好讓基督的能力臨到我的身上。

他在母腹中抓住他哥哥的腳跟，壯年的時候又與神角力。他與天使角力，並且得勝；他哀哭，向他求恩。他在伯特利遇見神，神在那裡對他說話。

因此，以色列人直到現在都不吃大腿窩上的筋，因為那人在雅各的大腿窩上的筋打了一下。

至於我，我在安穩的時候曾說：“我必永不動搖。”耶和華啊！你的恩寵，使我堅立，如同大山；你一掩面，我就驚惶。

蟲子雅各啊！以色列人哪！你不要懼怕。我必幫助你；這是耶和華說的。你的救贖主，就是以色列的聖者。

應當警醒、禱告，免得陷入試探；你們心靈雖然願意，肉體卻是軟弱的。”

摩西對耶和華說：“這樣埃及人必聽見這事，因為你曾用大能，把這民從他們中間領上來；埃及人也必告訴那地的居民。那地的居民也曾聽見你耶和華是在這人民中間，你耶和華曾面對面的向人顯現，你的雲彩常停在他們上面；日間你在雲柱中，夜間你在火柱中，走在他們前面。

有一個迦南的婦人從那地區出來，喊著說：“主啊，大衛的子孫，可憐我吧！我的女兒被鬼附得很苦。”耶穌一句話也不回答她。門徒上前求他說：“請叫她走吧，她一直跟在我們後面喊叫。”耶穌回答：“我被差遣，只是到以色列家的迷羊那裡去。”她來跪在耶穌面前說：“主啊，求你幫助我！”耶穌回答：“拿兒女的餅丟給小狗吃是不好的。”她說：“主啊，是的，不過小狗也吃主人桌子上掉下來的碎渣。”於是耶穌對她說：“婦人，你的信心真大，照你所想的給你成就吧！”從那時起，她的女兒就好了。

你趕快逃到那裡去，因為你還沒有到達那裡，我就不能作甚麼。”因此那城名叫瑣珥。

以色列的聖者，造以色列的主耶和華這樣說：“你們可以問我將要來的事，關於我的眾子和我手所作的，你們也可以吩咐我回答。

他又離開他們，第三次去禱告，說的也是同樣的話。

耶穌又對他們說：“你們當中，誰有朋友半夜去找他，說：‘請你借給我三個餅，因為我有一個朋友旅行來到我這裡，我沒有甚麼可以招待他。’而他卻在裡面回答：‘不要麻煩我，門已經關好了，孩子也跟我在床上了，我不能起來拿給你。’我告訴你們，即使不因為他是朋友而起來給他，也會因為他厚顏地直求，而起來照他所需要的給他。
