以掃見到雅各，就跑上去擁抱他，親吻他，二人抱頭痛哭。

耶和華告訴他當說的話，命他回去轉告巴勒。

拉班回答說：「女兒是我的，這些孩子是我的，羊群也是我的，你的一切都是我的，我又怎會傷害我的女兒和她們的孩子呢？

她們又放聲大哭，俄珥巴就親吻婆婆，向她道別。然而，路得卻依依不捨，不肯離去。

你向人類發怒為你帶來榮耀，你準備發盡你的烈怒。

上帝沒有咒詛的，我怎能咒詛？耶和華沒有斥責的，我怎能斥責？
