The God of Abraham, and the God of Nahor, the God of their father, judge betwixt us. And Jacob sware by the fear of his father Isaac.

May the God of Abraham and the God of Nahor, the God of their father, judge between us.” So Jacob took an oath in the name of the Fear of his father Isaac.

And I will make thee swear by the LORD, the God of heaven, and the God of the earth, that thou shalt not take a wife unto my son of the daughters of the Canaanites, among whom I dwell:But thou shalt go unto my country, and to my kindred, and take a wife unto my son Isaac.

Thou shalt fear the LORD thy God, and serve him, and shalt swear by his name.

Now therefore swear unto me here by God that thou wilt not deal falsely with me, nor with my son, nor with my son’s son:[ but] according to the kindness that I have done unto thee, thou shalt do unto me, and to the land wherein thou hast sojourned.And Abraham said, I will swear.

And it came to pass after these things, that it was told Abraham, saying, Behold, Milcah, she hath also born children unto thy brother Nahor;Huz his firstborn, and Buz his brother, and Kemuel the father of Aram,And Chesed, and Hazo, and Pildash, and Jidlaph, and Bethuel.And Bethuel begat Rebekah: these eight Milcah did bear to Nahor, Abraham’s brother.And his concubine, whose name[ was] Reumah, she bare also Tebah, and Gaham, and Thahash, and Maachah.

And they said, We saw certainly that the LORD was with thee: and we said, Let there be now an oath betwixt us,[ even] betwixt us and thee, and let us make a covenant with thee;That thou wilt do us no hurt, as we have not touched thee, and as we have done unto thee nothing but good, and have sent thee away in peace: thou[ art] now the blessed of the LORD.And he made them a feast, and they did eat and drink.And they rose up betimes in the morning, and sware one to another: and Isaac sent them away, and they departed from him in peace.

And, behold, the LORD stood above it, and said, I[ am] the LORD God of Abraham thy father, and the God of Isaac: the land whereon thou liest, to thee will I give it, and to thy seed;

And Terah took Abram his son, and Lot the son of Haran his son’s son, and Sarai his daughter in law, his son Abram’s wife; and they went forth with them from Ur of the Chaldees, to go into the land of Canaan; and they came unto Haran, and dwelt there.

And Abram said to the king of Sodom, I have lift up mine hand unto the LORD, the most high God, the possessor of heaven and earth,

And I will establish my covenant between me and thee and thy seed after thee in their generations for an everlasting covenant, to be a God unto thee, and to thy seed after thee.
