我令爾指主宰天地之耶和華天主而誓、我居迦南人中、爾毋為我子娶其女為妻、必往我故土本族、為我子以撒娶妻、

當畏主爾之天主而奉事之、指其名而發誓、

今在此、當指天主以誓、毋向我及我子我孫負心、我如何厚待爾、爾亦如何厚待我、及爾所旅之地、亞伯拉罕曰、我誓之、

是事後、有人告亞伯拉罕云、密迦從爾弟拿鶴生子、長子烏斯、弟布斯、與亞蘭父基母利、基薛、哈瑣、必達、益拉、彼土利、此八人、皆密迦從亞伯拉罕之弟拿鶴所生、彼土列生女利百加、拿鶴妾名流瑪、生子提八、迦含、他轄、瑪迦、

曰、我儕見主祐爾、竊謂爾我間當立誓、互相結盟、昔我儕未嘗加害於爾、乃厚待爾、送爾安然以去、如是、爾亦莫惡待我、蓋爾蒙主賜福、以撒為之設筵、相與飲食、明日夙興相誓、以撒送之、安然而歸、

主立於梯上、或作立於其側曰、我乃耶和華、即爾祖亞伯拉罕之天主、與以撒之天主、爾所臥之地、悉以賜爾及爾後裔、

他拉挈亞伯蘭與孫、即哈蘭子羅得、及子婦撒萊、咸出迦勒底之吾珥邑、欲往迦南地、至於哈蘭居焉、

亞伯蘭謂所多瑪王曰、我指天地之主宰、至高天主耶和華而誓、

我將與爾及爾歷代子孫立我約、以為永約、必為爾之天主、亦為爾後裔之天主、
