你们在外邦人中要品行端正，好让那些人，虽然毁谤你们是作恶的，会因看见你们的好行为而在鉴察的日子归荣耀给神。

不过，要以温柔、敬畏的心回答。要存无亏的良心，使你们在何事上被毁谤，就在何事上使那些凌辱你们在基督里有好品行的人自觉羞愧。

他们从帐棚里把这些东西取出来，拿到约书亚和以色列众人那里，倒在耶和华面前。

至于你的神明，你若在谁那里搜出来，就不让谁活。当着我们弟兄面前，你认一认在我这里有什么东西是你的，你就拿去吧。”原来雅各并不知道拉结偷了神明。

我们对你们信主的人是何等圣洁、正直、无可指责，这有你们作证，也有神作证。
