Then Jacob became very angry, and he challenged Laban.“ What’s my crime?” he demanded.“ What have I done wrong to make you chase after me as though I were a criminal?

雅各就生气，与拉班争吵起来。雅各责问拉班说：“我到底有什么过犯，有什么罪恶，你竟这样急速地追赶我呢？

于是雅各就恼火，斥责拉班，对他说：“我有什么过犯，有什么罪，让你对我穷追不舍呢？

雅各就發怒斥責拉班說：「我有甚麼過犯，有甚麼罪惡，你竟這樣火速地追我？

雅各就生氣，和拉班爭論起來；雅各回答拉班說：『我有甚麼過犯，甚麼罪惡，你竟火急地追我？

於是雅各就惱火，斥責拉班，對他說：「我有什麼過犯，有什麼罪，讓你對我窮追不捨呢？

雅各怒、斥之曰、我何罪愆、使爾迫追我、

雅各怒斥之、曰、我何罪愆、乃相追太迫。

雅各怒、斥拉班謂之曰、我何罪愆、竟如是急迫追我、

Jacob was angry and took Laban to task.“ What is my crime?” he asked Laban.“ How have I wronged you that you hunt me down?

Jacob was very angry with Laban.“ What is my crime?” he asked.“ What have I done to you that you hunt me down like this?

Then Jacob became angry and berated Laban. Jacob said to Laban,“ What is my offense? What is my sin, that you have hotly pursued me?

Then Jacob became incensed and brought charges against Laban.“ What is my crime?” he said to Laban.“ What is my sin, that you have pursued me?

Then Jacob became angry and argued with Laban; and Jacob said to Laban,“ What is my offense? What is my sin that you have hotly pursued me?

Then Jacob was angry and rebuked Laban, and Jacob answered and said to Laban:“ What is my trespass? What is my sin, that you have so hotly pursued me?

And Jacob was wroth, and chode with Laban: and Jacob answered and said to Laban, What is my trespass? what is my sin, that thou hast hotly pursued after me?

Then Jacob became incensed and brought charges against Laban.“ What is my crime?” he said to Laban.“ What is my sin, that you have pursued me?

And Jacob was wroth, and chode with Laban: and Jacob answered and said to Laban, What[ is] my trespass? what[ is] my sin, that thou hast so hotly pursued after me?

Jacob became angry and argued with Laban.“ What did I do wrong?” he demanded of Laban.“ What sin of mine prompted you to chase after me in hot pursuit?

Jacob was angry, and argued with Laban. Jacob answered Laban,“ What is my trespass? What is my sin, that you have hotly pursued me?

And“ don’t sin by letting anger control you.” Don’t let the sun go down while you are still angry,

Meanwhile, Jacob’s sons had come in from the field as soon as they heard what had happened. They were shocked and furious that their sister had been raped. Shechem had done a disgraceful thing against Jacob’s family, something that should never be done.

Then Moses became very angry and said to the Lord,“ Do not accept their grain offerings! I have not taken so much as a donkey from them, and I have never hurt a single one of them.”

But Naaman became angry and stalked away.“ I thought he would certainly come out to meet me!” he said.“ I expected him to wave his hand over the leprosy and call on the name of the Lord his God and heal me!

Understand this, my dear brothers and sisters: You must all be quick to listen, slow to speak, and slow to get angry.Human anger does not produce the righteousness God desires.

He looked around at them angrily and was deeply saddened by their hard hearts. Then he said to the man,“ Hold out your hand.” So the man held out his hand, and it was restored!

Then Jacob became furious with Rachel.“ Am I God?” he asked.“ He’s the one who has kept you from having children!”

But the man of God was angry with him.“ You should have struck the ground five or six times!” he exclaimed.“ Then you would have beaten Aram until it was entirely destroyed. Now you will be victorious only three times.”

A curse on their anger, for it is fierce; a curse on their wrath, for it is cruel. I will scatter them among the descendants of Jacob; I will disperse them throughout Israel.

The wicked run away when no one is chasing them, but the godly are as bold as lions.
