说：“我的弟兄们，请你们不要做这恶事。

拉班带着他的弟兄们去追他，追了七天，就在基列山追上了。

你仆人中无论在谁那里找到杯子，就叫他死，我们也要作我主的奴隶。”管家说：“现在就照你们的话做吧！在谁那里找到杯子，谁就作我的奴隶，其余的人都没有罪。”于是他们各人急忙把袋子卸在地上，各人打开自己的袋子。管家就搜查，从年长的开始到年幼的为止，那杯竟在便雅悯的袋子里找到了。

当时拉班去剪羊毛，拉结偷了他父亲家中的神像。

我在这里，你们要在耶和华和他的受膏者面前为我作证，我夺过谁的牛，抢过谁的驴，欺负过谁，虐待过谁，从谁手里收过贿赂而蒙蔽自己的眼目呢？若有，我必偿还。”众人说：“你未曾欺负我们，虐待我们，也未曾从任何人手里收过任何东西。”撒母耳对他们说：“你们在我手里没有找着什么，有耶和华在你们中间作证，也有他的受膏者今日作证。”他们说：“愿耶和华作证。”

我们这样做，免得有人因我们收的捐款多而挑剔我们。我们留心做好事，不但在主面前，就是在人面前也是这样。

我所差遣到你们那里去的人，我何曾藉着他们中的任何人占过你们的便宜呢？我劝提多到你们那里去，又差遣那位弟兄与他同去，提多占过你们的便宜吗？我们的行事为人不是同一心灵吗？不是同一步伐吗？你们一直认为我们是在你们面前为自己辩护吗？其实，我们本是在基督里当着神面前说话。亲爱的，一切的事都是为了造就你们。

以后你来当面查看我的工资，任何我这里的山羊不是有点有斑的，小绵羊不是黑色的，就算是我偷的。这就可以证明我是正直的。”

亚伯兰就对罗得说：“你我不可以相争，你的牧人和我的牧人也不可以相争，因为我们是一家人。
