我们这样谨慎，免得有人在我们所经手的这丰厚之事上挑剔我们，因为我们不仅要敬重主看为美善的事，也要敬重人看为美善的事。

难道我曾经藉着派到你们那里去的人，对不起你们吗？我鼓励提多去，又打发那位弟兄与他一起去。难道提多对不起你们吗？我们行事，难道不是同一个心灵吗？难道不是同一个步调吗？你们一直以为我们是在向你们申辩吗？我们是在基督里，在神面前说话。各位蒙爱的人哪，这一切都是为了造就你们。

日后你来查看我所得的工酬时，要是我这里的山羊中有任何一只不是有点、有斑的，绵羊羔中有任何一只不是黑色的，就算是我偷来的。这样我的公义就为我辩护了。”

亚伯兰就对罗得说：“但愿你我之间，你的牧人和我的牧人之间不要有争吵，因为我们是一家人。
