But God came to Laban the Aramean in a dream at night.“ Watch yourself!” God warned him.“ Don’t say anything to Jacob, either good or bad.”

And now, I tell you, stay away from these men and leave them alone. For if this plan or this work is of men, it will be overthrown;but if it is of God, you will not be able to overthrow them. You may even be found fighting against God.” So they were persuaded by him.

When he reached the den, he cried out in anguish to Daniel.“ Daniel, servant of the living God,” the king said,“ has your God whom you serve continually been able to rescue you from the lions?”

“ Who are You, Lord?” he said.“ I am Jesus, the One you are persecuting,” He replied.

This is why the one who handed Me over to you has the greater sin.”

The king said to Daniel,“ Your God is indeed God of gods, Lord of kings, and a revealer of mysteries, since you were able to reveal this mystery.”

I issue a decree that in all my royal dominion, people must tremble in fear before the God of Daniel: For He is the living God, and He endures forever; His kingdom will never be destroyed, and His dominion has no end.

Why brag about evil, you hero! God’s faithful love is constant.
